 "Come on Mommy!" Ellie trotted ahead of her mother, practically bouncing backwards. "I wanna meet her~ My only big half-sister!" She'd been looking forward to meeting the only other female in her family for FOREVER. And when her mother had said they would be going to Zikasaleli's den, Ellie had barely been able to stand her mother bathing her without vibrating from the excitement. And as soon as the bath had been over....
ZOOM. Hakuna couldn't help but chuckle at her younger daughter's enthusiasm. The girl was the perfect demon in some ways...and then so far from the norm in others. It was a bit scary. But refreshing, the Sinta'hare supposed. And Hakuna hoped...that this time, she would get this 'parenting' thing right. She was still saddened she hadn't been able to spend as much time with her first litter as she wanted to...having been a Tirma'eth, she'd been out on the borders a LOT. But now she just taught.
The route to Zika's den wasn't as familiar as Hakuna wanted, but she still knew it. And once she reached it with Ellie, she scratched her claws on the rock in a 'knock'. "Are you home, Zika?"

Zika stretched lazily, idly sharpening her claws on the rock walls of her den. Normally, she'd be out and about, wandering around and seeing what mayhem she could cause, but she was expecting company any moment. She was quite excited to meet her young half-sister and seeing her mother would be enjoyable too. She had not seen Hakuna in quite some time. Her mother had always been so busy when she'd been growing up. It wasn't that she resented that or anything, it was simply a fact.
Hearing another set of claws on the outside of the den along with her mother's voice, Zika stood and called back.
"Yes, I am here, come on in."
Zika's tail swished back and forth, the only indicator of her excitement. Zika was a master at hiding her emotions after many years of practice.

Ellie was the first in, trying very hard not to be too speedy. Being one of three girls in the WHOLE family made her anxious to meet the first girl her mother had borne. When she saw Zikasaleli, she couldn't help but blink. "Wow...you look more like Mister Verge'lian than Mommy." She giggled. "That's awesome!"
Hakuna followed Ellie in, smiling at her older daughter with a calmness that hadn't been there when Zika had been young. "Evening, Zika. It's been too long." Hakuna hoped she'd be able to visit more often now. "This is your younger half sister, Lith'elen." Ellie's admiration of her sister, and the fact she looked like the lion she most admired aside from her mother, was rather funny to Hakuna. None of her prior little ones were like Ellie at all.
