I own a DeathNote replica, the best quality out there, and it has 54 pages of rules. That's over 100 rules.

In the actual Death Note notebook in the series, Ryuk only writes the first 5 pages or so because that's all he knows about it. The entire collection of them that appears throughout the manga/anime and in the replica are just bits of knowledge that has either been discovered in the series or revealed by Ohba.
