A grin was fixed on the Sultan's face as the sun slowly set and he headed towards the den, he had promised his Vika a story and he knew Taja would probably be listening as well. It had been a long time since he had a chance to simply tell a tale, since before his father had passed. Tonight's tale had been one passed down for generations and no one knew it's original origins anymore. Like most of the tales that circulated in the pride it was probably an experience or embellishment of some boasting male.
Still true or not it had entertained cubs, soothed warriors, and touched the hearts of banu for as long as they could remember, and now he was eager to share it with his banu in the hopes they would someday share it with his cubs. The thought made his grin widen, he slowed and shook off stretching before entering the den and peering about for Vika and Taja. He probably should have paused to eat or rest, but the large male was overeager.
"Vika? Taja?" He couldn't keep the mild tone of excitement from his voice.

-It had been a semi eventful day for Vikasini. She'd wandered the area nearest their den with Neema (perhaps a little overcautiously close, in fear of getting in trouble for heading out too far), making note of any little thing she saw, becoming familar with the area they now called their home. She'd chatted about nonesense with some of her harem sisters.. the weather, if and when was the next time she'd be allowed out to hunt, and of trees and bugs.
The light colored lioness had in fact been lounging in rest in the den, as she waited for the day to fade to night, tongue gently cleaning away the dirt that had settled on her forearms during today's activities when she heard the call. Lifting herself from the ground, she stepped silently along until the male figure of her sultan came into view.- "I am here" -She stated softly, curiously, tail twitching gently back and forth. What would he want the two of them for?-

((Sorry for the delay/hold up, guys! D: kept forgetting to come back to this.))
She had spent most of her day thus far taking everything in as well. She finally had a chance to speak with Aysel alone, briefly, and had done her best to listen. After that it was back to the den to mull over what she'd learned (Where she'd fallen asleep turning her thoughts over and over in her head.). A female's place, her true strengths, well, some independence still left in her felt as if these beliefs brushed her fur the wrong way, but logically they made sense. Females were better huntresses for their speed, males were better warriors for their bulk and strength, not to say females were weak either, but, simply looking at the lions here told her everything. The females were rather small compared to those of them brought in from the raid.
It made her grateful to have Vika and Neema, and Lela, even if she hadn't seen her yet, the same for Zira. If she'd been the only one from the Pridelands then she might have felt horribly alone. She hoped her presence offered some comfort for the others as well while they were adjusting.
Well, in any case, upon waking in the den to see Vika washing her legs she'd thought to offer to help her when Aali called in, coming towards them. She quickly shook the sleep from her nap-addled brain, rising to all fours as well slowly.
"I am here as well," She called quietly, moving a little bit more slowly to stand next to Vika.

Aali moved in eagerly and gently brushed his cheek against Taja and Vika in greeting. How wonderful to return to the den and not be alone, even with Aysel off on a hunt he still had his other lovely ladies there for him. They seemed to be settling in nicely as well and he hoped that they would relax with him tonight. He had been complimented on his voice before when he was younger, now his voice was deeper, stronger. He wondered if he would still have the talent for telling tales though it had been so long.
Slowly he settled down and lightly pawed at the ground before him. "Come come make yourselves comfortable, it's a nice night for a story. I owe you a story yes Vika?" A smile slowly settled on his muzzle and his eyes seemed to brighten.
"I shall tell you the tale of The Twelve Dancing Princesses."

-She smiled softly at her harem sister as she realized she was near, her eyes widening softly however as the sultan's words touched her. A story? He'd promised and all.. and yet! It was like a gift or something, and what had she even done yet to deserve it? Other then you know.. not try to run away. And really.. she was too timid the type for that kind of thing anyway.
Her paws drew her excitedly a few steps closer, obediently plopping to the ground as he insisted on their comfort, stretching out in the cool dirt.- "You will? How wonderful!"
-Her eyes flicked gently towards Taja, seeming to silently offer her side if the other girl wanted. Just as quickly they turned back to Aali however, ears perking forward, as if afraid they might miss something important. Princess stories.. they really were the very best stories she thought!-
