Umbia had been busy, well she hadn't but she had been when it came to thinking. She had been trying to decide whether or not it was worth taking something of a vacation from the pride. Her two boys were now adults and well, she just wanted to get away, be free and to forget everything about her past. Yet... this was home.

She moved around the prides lands restlessly. She didn't have any idea of what it was she was doing. Maybe she should hunt? Maybe she should check on her boys? There were so many maybes but nothing definite, there was never anything definite! Maybe she should just go find her sons or her mother or father, they were probably around here somewhere. Right that was it, her mind made up, she had to get away from here if only for a little while, she had to get somewhere away so she could find interest in life again.

Takuma was wandering the borders of the Kusini'Mwezi, not wanting to stray too far into them incase it wasn't Kari he came across. He still didn't know whether she'd told the pride, or her family, about him, so he kept his distance for now. She'd said she'd come find him that evening, but right now the sun was still in the sky, and evening seemed years away. Collapsing in the shade, Takuma huffed a big sigh, crystalline blue eyes scanning the surrounding area.

They were pretty lands, these. The Pridelands hadn't been as pretty as this, neither the Bahari. But then again, he hadn't thought much of the Bahari'mtoto, with all that water. Ugh, he physically shuddered just at the thought of it. Casting his thoughts to his twin, Taku smiled softly. He'd return to her soon, when Kari came too. They'd admitted their feelings for each other, and she'd said she'd come back to Amanzi with him. He did miss his twin, though. Was it right, to be so close to two females? Ugh, so many questions. It was too hot to think.

He sighed again.

Umbia reached the borders maybe a little too quickly though she didn't really care, she only cared when she saw someone else and came to a rather sudden stop. She looked at the male for a while trying to decide whether or not to talk to him or pretend she hadn't seen him. Not that she could really pretend she hadn't seen him as she was staring at him.

"Hey..."

She didn't really have much choice but to talk and maybe it would help her make sense of something? Maybe? She could hope so. She could do with being social after all maybe it was the lack of socializing that was making her go so mad.

Kairi
Takuma didn't even notice the female appear at first, too absorbed in doing nothing. Just staring into space, with nothing at all floating about his mind... He looked up with a bright expression, at first thinking it must be Kari, before his expression melted to one of confusion as he realized it wasn't. ...Who was it then? ...Oh, right. There was a pride, duh. It probably had a few more lionness' in than just Kari. Smiling, trying not to look threatening, Takuma pushed his front half up so he was sitting, cocking his head curiously. He may have been an adult, but he still had his cub habits.

"...Hey? I'm Takuma."

Should he mention Kari? ...Probably best not to.

Umbia nodded though she wasn't really sure what to say and then it dawned on her that she really hadn't been social in a while so much so she seemed to have forgotten how to do so.

"I am Umbia... are you part of the pride?" Oh yes she really had secluded herself.

"I haven't seen you about but then I don't pay as much attention to members as maybe I should." There she was talking, that wasn't so hard really.

Kairi
Umbia...yeah, this definitely wasn't Kari. Although, he wasn't sure why that thought came into his head. CLEARLY it wasn't Kari, since this lionness was red and black, and Kari was all different shades of pretty brown. It wasn't like she could disguise herself...and he was thinking too much again. Shaking his head a little to clear his thoughts, Taku put on a more genuine smile, reaching a paw up to scratch an itch on his neck.

"Uh...no. I'm just a friend of someone in it. They're meeting me later, but I don't wanna intrude, so I'm sticking to the borders."

Umbia nodded and smiled.

"You are welcome in the lands, I have never known a rogue to not be welcome." Though of course she was no one special and one of the few not related to everyone else in the pride.

"Who are you meeting?"

Kairi
He was welcome? Oh...he'd never really asked Kari if he could come in, he'd just stayed out to be polite. He didn't want to intrude or anything. He scratched his itch a little more fiercely before replacing his paw on the ground, smiling. "Oh...okay. I think I'll stay here, anyway. I like this patch of shade. It's...cool." He sounded like an idiot, didn't he? Ugh. As he was asked who he was meeting, his ears flicked backwards a little. Should he say? What if she hadn't told anyone?

"Uh...Mng'Kari?" he spoke in a slightly more hushed tone, hoping he wasn't getting her into trouble.

"Haven't a clue who that is." She wasn't going to pretend she did when she clearly hadn't the slightest idea.

"I am guessing she is related to the main line though? I only wonder because I think if I remember right the first queens name was the same, well the beginning of it anyway." She was rambling? How odd.

Kairi
Oh...okay. That made things easier. Taku's smile widened a little now he knew he couldn't get Kari into trouble, and his tail curled around his rump in a more comfortable position, his whole body posture seeming to relax a little. Phew, that was a relief, then. His ears perked up a little at the mention of her family, though. Related to the main line? ...Woa, he was crushing on, like, royalty? His eyes widened a little, mouth dropping open a fraction.

"I...I dunno. She hasn't mentioned it," he mumbled, suddenly feeling really bad. He didn't want to take royalty away from the pride!

Remove
Umbia laughed a little at his response.

"It's okay half the pride is related to the main line so if you assume someone is related to them chances are you are right." She wasn't really sure why she felt a little bitter as she spoke but maybe because everyone had someone? Maybe...

"She brown yeah? Well assuming she is anyway chances are she is related somehow..."

Kairi
Half the pride was related? Didn't that kinda...take away from the whole posh name 'royalty' and stuff, though? And surely a pride made of mostly the same family wouldn't survive long, since inbreeding and all of that... Ah well, it wasn't his business. He blinked, eyes slightly wide as he merely nodded in answer to Umbia's question. She was brown, yeah. And really pretty...no, wait! That wasn't relevant!

"Oh...okay then." His smile brightened again as he glanced off to his left, glad to see the sun was a little further in the sky. A little less time 'til he met Kari.

"I am sure if you ask her she can tell you all about the little pridal dramas!" She smiled as she spoke trying to speak calmer.

She followed where he looked to where the sun was. Maybe she should go home, or go hunting... or something. She was hungry, really hungry. Yes she could hunt and then put off making her decision for now at least.

Kairi
Pridal dramas? Oh, he didn't want to put her on the spot...but nonetheless he smiled, nodding to Umbia, not wanting to be rude. "Okay, thank you." She was quite nice, actually. Maybe the pride actually was quite friendly, and he could wander a little further into the lands. The prey out here was kinda chewy...he could go for some nice, juicy hare. Maybe he'd wander a little tomorrow.

"So, uh..." Aww man, this was when things got awkward.

Umbia nodded and wasn't sure what to say either. After all awkward silence really were awkward.

"I guess you are seeing her soon? Maybe I should leave you to it, I need to get some hunting done anyway or some of us might go hungry." She chuckled a little though it was a bit forced

Kairi
This was an awkward silence, wasn't it? He hated those! It was nice, travelling with Zizi, since all you got was comfortable silences, in the rare moments they weren't playing or talking. And kari was a little the same...or at least, he thought so. She seemed so similar to his sister, but...prettier. Not that he'd tell Amanzi that.

"Oh...okay." Maybe he should let her go hunt - he dind't want the pride to go hungry. He nodded, smiling sweetly, "It was nice meeting you, Umbia."

Umbia nodded,

"Yes it was nice to meet you to and I hope your erm friend arrives soon, though seriously go look for her!" She smiled, nodded at him and turned to leave. Yes she would go hunting, she can attempt to make her decision again tomorrow.
