 Neha sat pawing at dirt, it felt cool and nice between her toes. She giggled happily as she sprawled out in it. Her pelt was not the best to have when the sun was bright and shiny, like today. She liked that she was near to her shady den and that the ground was a bit cool. She lifted her head, and looked around. She wondered if anyone else was up right now. She wanted to play..

 Harb yawned lazily as he lifted his head with a tired rumbling sound. Lately his dreams had been plagued with visions and as such, he didn't get much sleep. His emerald eyes scanned the den, visably checking on each sister. A frown crossed his muzzle when he didn't see Neha.
Getting to his feet he padded outside, "Neha? Where are you sis?"

Neha's small white ears perked, and she looked back behind her at the den. "Did..someone call me?" She asked loudly, hoping it wasn't Momma or Daddy getting upset cause she had left.
She sat up a bit, puffing herself up and shaking, to try and get the dirt from her pelt.
"Coming!" she called, hopefully they weren't mad, or maybe it was one of her siblings. oh! She stopped her shaking, and looked back behind her, "H-harb?" She called tentatively.

Harb's black tipped ears perked hearing her voice, and a soft rumbling purr spilled from the male as he padded to her side. "There you are!" Licking her cheek, he purr more, " Why did you leave? You should always tell momma or daddy or me where you are going. We have to protect you!"
True there wasn't too much danger -in- the pride lands, but outside the safety of the den, the world could be dangerous. Harb was still troubled by the sight he has seen recently of a pad beating his banu into submission. He had vowed then and there, no one would EVER harm one of his sisters.

Neha giggled and purred with him. "I wasn't goin' no where, and I was safe, I was just right outside our den." She cuddled close to him, he was still warm from when he had gotten up. "Sorry if I worried you...is momma or daddy worried?" Her small ears fell, and she hoped they were sleeping, so she could maybe go back in and curl up for awhile, they wouldn't notice then, right?
"I just wanted to have a bit of fun," she shuffled her dusty paws and tried not to giggle, but she couldn't help but smile. Harb needed to have fun once in a while. "Now that your up though!" Neha's voice went up an octave and her sadness had faded, "Do you want to play with me?" she bounced in the dirt, hoping he'd say yes, they wouldn't go anywhere.

Harb rumbled lazily as he nuzzled her tenderly, " No mom and dad are still asleep, well I think they are. I know Afsar and Zar are." Smiling at her gently, he chuckled, " Play? You wanna play with me?" He teased gently knowing how serious others saw him.

"Yup!" Neha furrowed her brows to mimic her brothers face sometimes. "You don't play like the rest of us.." she bent down in a crouching position and her tail wagged, "Come on!" She poked at him playfully. Surely he wouldn't tell her no, he couldn't!

Harb grumbled halfheartedly as he glanced at Neha out of the corner of his eye. So she wanted to play did she? Well...Lunging at her suddenly the young male laughed happily chasing after her. "You better watch it Neha! I am gonna get ya and chew on your ears!" Of all his sisters, little Neha brought out the more playful side of him. She would be a good banu one day, he just knew it.
"You better run fast!"
