Zizzykitty I never read the books but I must ask. Did Sherlock Holmes always know martial arts because I laughed when I saw that in the preview. But I'll feel kind of bad for laughing if he really did know that in the books. Feel bad, Zizzy. Feel bad.
Also, I accidentally read the biggest spoiler for Sherlock Holmes when I decided to verify this information. I had only read about his martial arts in an essay about the character. The article I looked at to verify this mentioned him explaining it in one of the stories. I clicked the story title (because I didn't recall reading that and the name of the story sounded like one I read) and BAM! Big spoiler. Of all the adventures it could have been mentioned in . . .
Dang it. Just dang it.
*ahem* Anyway . . .
zizzykitty I hadn't heard of The Wolfman but I'm trying to decide whether it looks interesting or cheesy. That's where the kind of, comes in. I'm hoping it doesn't end up being cheesy. Or at least not too cheesy.
Dang. It.
Zizzykitty I really wanted to see Inglorious Bastards but I heard it was way more serious than the trailer portrayed, I was expecting it to be a comedy rather than the drama I'm hearing it is, so I'm waiting for it on DVD. Indeed it was much more serious than the trailers suggested. The serious scenes dragged on.
Most of the "comedy" parts made me feel dirty.
DANG IT! AAAARARARARAARARARAGHAAGAGAGAAGH!!! WHY?!?!

Wow, really? I found it surprising that a Detective in England in a time where it wouldbe extrememly difficult to travel to the East to learn a martial art knows one. I thought it was something Hollywood threw in to make him more interesting or something like that.
I'm sorry you just spoiled that for yourself. I've not been concerned with spoilers lately so maybe I should have just looked it up myself. I've always wanted to read the books though so maybe I'll try doing that before seeing the movie.
Dornkus Zizzykitty I hadn't heard of The Wolfman but I'm trying to decide whether it looks interesting or cheesy. That's where the kind of, comes in. I'm hoping it doesn't end up being cheesy. Or at least not too cheesy. Dang. It. I'll probably watch it later on DVD. Or my horror movie buff buddy may drag me along to see it. But I'm typically not her horror buddy so I doubt that. (even though it honestly doesn't look scary like werewolf movies usually should be)

I heard it was still good just kind of a "bait and switch" I'll still see it later though.
I typically have no problems with "dirty comedy" as long as it's done well. Well is a very vague term though. And I'm too tired to try to explain what I mean by that. So let's say I'll probably enjoy the comedy unless the that too is a "bait and switch" because the parts in the trailer that looked funny amused me.
It's okay Dornkus. Just look into this pen here.... And forget everything. *sunglasses and pen flashes*

Zizzykitty I'm sorry you just spoiled that for yourself. Spoilers are attracted to me or something. I found a Fable II spoiler in the comments section of a youtube video about an old Hulk video game.

I felt dirty because a lot of the humor involved killing people. It's not so bad when it's a cartoon or something. I don't know. A lot of people felt it was okay "because they're Nazis!"
Zizzykitty It's okay Dornkus. Just look into this pen here.... And forget everything. *sunglasses and pen flashes* Huh? What was I talking about?

Ah, I get what you're saying. I thought it was just joking about killing people. Which I would be okay with. Not actually killing people while joking about it I've made some pretty bad jokes about grisly topics but joking while killing people... I can see why that would have made you feel dirty.
Dornkus Zizzykitty It's okay Dornkus. Just look into this pen here.... And forget everything. *sunglasses and pen flashes* Huh? What was I talking about? Nothing. Now come this way. We've got to get our popcorn, the movie is about to start.
