Freedom, at long last! Though she wasn't allowed very far from her den, Dilara relished any chance to go outside she ever got. Every time she stepped out onto the grass it felt like a new adventure was just waiting to come along. With joy in her eyes she looked around, patiently seeking someone out to join her on a romp. But there was no one! With the abundance of cubs like her around, she would've thought there would've been at least one around to amuse her, if not for a few moments. Her smile faded into a slightly huffy frown as she sat down and sulked for a few moments.

Noticing when the husky sunlight of the mid-afternoon suddenly dimmed slightly she peered upwards curiously, noticing a veil of dark gray slowly creeping across the sky. Well wasn't that just great! Sighing her displeasure she sat up and darted towards a small cluster of bushes with two trees rising up from the center that was nearby. She'd have to get in as much play time as possible now that she was sure she would be called in at any moment thanks to the foul weather approaching. Curiously examining the tree and bushes she poked her nose between some leaves in order to see if it would make a suitable niche to crawl into.

It wasn't. There was no space for a little lioness between the cozy leaves so, defeated, she looked upwards to the branches above her for entertainment. A single object caught her eye: a long vine hanging down and dangling just over the mound of bushes separating her from the trees in its center. Her face contorted into a toothless smirk as she prowled around the tree and bushes, sizing up the distance that separated her from her target. In her mind, she could only think of how fun it would be to swing from that vine! She backed up before crouching down and locking her eyes on it.

In a split second she was charging towards the leafy foe, and just as she was about to pummel into the bushes surrounding it like a green mote, she leaped up...and managed to grab onto the vine with her small, sharp teeth! It gave way slightly, startling her into letting go of it out of instinct...causing her to fall directly into the leaves below. Her fall was hardly bad but now she was being poked in all different directions by branches, she felt stupid for failing, and she just wanted her momma! Struggling against the branches which were clawing at her little body she found that after a few moments of this she'd worn herself out partially.

She'd been nagged at to take a nap that day but had she listened? No, and all for the sake of romping around. Frustrated at her predicament and herself she gave a few mewls, in the event her mother or father was somewhere within a few feet of the bushes. Of course she was met with silence and again persistantly fought to free herself from her new prison.
