Anyone who is self teaching themselves, what book or website are you using?
Do you think it will help other people understand more?
Do you like it?

i'm not being self taught i have classes on Fridays but i have a japanese book.
"Japanese for young people #1" It helps but it gets confusing at times which is why its a good thing to have an instructor with it. I love actually XD

Hi xd I'm also self-taught at the moment.

I'm using the AJALT kana version Japanese for Busy People sets. (Currently very slowly going through v.1) I haven't used them yet, but they also come with lesson CDs for the computer, which hopefully will help with pronunciation. So far I'm finding them very easy to follow.

I've also found that the site Read the Kanji helps keep me up to speed in my kana and kanji studies. It's actually kind of addicting lol.

" [I'm using the site freejapaneselessons.com, and it is kind of easy.

Wow! I use the same thing as Hitsugaya! Awesome.

The person who made the website I'm using carefully balanced out everything. Its a nice website to learn from.

I encourage anyone who wants to learn, to learn from there.]

I'm self taught, I learned through audio language tapes/CD's, but learned very little from them, the rest and most of what I've learned is from Japanese movies, anime, and music. Gakuto-sama FTW!
