In the demon pride, towards the further end of the dens, but still far enough of away to not be mistaken as a slaves den, sneaks a small black and green cub.
Burilda had done it! She's sneaked her way out of her mommies den with out Xiang noticing! She was pretty proud of herself, she was tired of being in there, all alone when her mommy and Xiang went out to hunt or patrol the borders. She rushed away from the den, not wanting to get caught and hid behind a dried up bush, she thought it was a great hiding spot! Even if the bush was dead and missing leaves, making her black and green pelt stand out. She sat and looked around, wondering where the borders were... or where her daddy and sisters were.... maybe if she found them, she could convince her dad to keep her too! yeah! that was a great idea!
Lonely and looking for a companion, preferably her sisters... if she even knew where her mother had taken them; Burilda began to wander the around the den area, finding that a few of them smelled like there were other lions in there... but being too unsure of herself to actually venture into them, she stayed away. Her mother had told her it was dangerous to wander the pride alone and that she should always have her mom or Xiang with her when she went out. But it didn't look that scary... and Burilda was a brave little lioness.... wasn't she? That didn't matter, she decided as she lowered her head a bit and her tail hung a bit lower, as she made her way through the bushes and rocks, not really sure of where she was going.

From a further den, another cub was sneaking out. Lavender eyes were cold and calculating as she slipped away from the watchful gaze of mother, sisters, and brothers. A grin twisted across her face, and she giggled, a normally innocent sound that coming from this little one sounding just as sick as her smile. Out of sight of her family, she took off, trotting happily, utterly oblivious - or not caring about the older demons that could wish her harm.
She was Tana the Untouchable! Or whatever... With her father as Aran'shale of the pride, well, she had nothing and no one to be afraid of. Her brows furrowed and a sly expression on her face, she darted around, the most stealthy of all! That is, until she laid eyes on a cub that seemed to have the same idea. She narrowed her eyes and arched her back when she laid eyes upon a black and green cub. There was no real reason nor provocation to her rage, but... This would be fun. She slunk closer, unseen and unheard until she was within striking range.
