i'm more used to their american names. if you call them by their japanese names, i might not know who you are talking about. i know serena is usagi, and rini is chibi-usa, but that's about it.

I believe the inner / outer senshi forums are open. They should have both names for each character. That might help. smile

I'm more sued to the Japanese names now so I guess I'd have to go with them. I think they fit the characters better and I also think the Japanese voices fit better too.

And I don't care which. They're all the same to me, lol. Though like Darien seems stupid to me. It doesn't relate at all to Mamoru.

Serena is from Serenity, I would assume and Rini from Mini? (Just a guess)

The NA names were cute in their own way (and Ami/Amy, Rei/Raye, and Minako/Mina were practically the same anyway. Artemis and Rei even call her Mina in the Japanese version.) But I've gotten used to the Japanese.

If they had to change the names, I think they should have stuck with Mamoru's original name, Mark, in the English dub. It has the same first letter and the same meaning. I also liked Bunny better than Serena in the manga.

I'm not sure but did the voice actor for Usagi change later on in the series?
