SIGN UP WINDOW: DECEMBER 20 - DECEMBER 30
Summary
A change in leadership is upcoming and by default all the adult
heirs of the pride will be thrown into a tournament where the strongest
will rise to the top and take the empty throne. The winner of this
tournament is predetermined by the pride leaders and is Sil'in Drathir
this time around.
The tournament will consist of predetermined match-ups. The winners of
the matches must be agreed upon by the participants of that specific
match and posted here. The first post of a match RP, if it is RP'd, should
then also state somewhere who the winner will be. You are free to RP out
your matches when you wish - but you must post a result in this thread
within 3 days of that round being posted - we'll leave a 3-month
OOC window for RPs to happen but keep in mind, the events will
occur over approximately a week ICly.
There will be one RP to kick off the tournament (a metaplot RP) and
one to end the tournament. These will happen in fairly quick order
and the tournament itself will be timed between these RPs. The
associated feast and party after the new king will be crowned will be
started after the 3-month window so that everyone has time to
finish up RPs and to participate.
Please note: The tournament is a pride-wide event. When a tournament is triggered, all pride members attend. The only excuse for not being at the tournament is to be far outside the pride when it occurs.
Purpose of this Thread
First: this is to inform the owners of pride members of the
procedures and events soon taking place.
Second: If your lion would not participate in the tournament, you
must post such in this thread. Failure to do so will assume your lion
participates.
Third: List of participating and not participating individuals.
List of Eligible Participants
Eligible participants are those that have either Verge'lian or Iartuupe as a parent and are members of the pride - and are adult stage.
Only confirmed heirs (rank on cert) actually participate in the tournament.
If you wish for your lion to be a confirmed heir, you have the period of this sign-up to apply for the rank.
Applications after the deadline will not be included in the tourney.
