Sozin's paws kissed the sand as she trotted along the dry lands, her eyes narrowed and intense. She had been spending a lot of her time alone, now that she was questioning things within her relationship with Ana. She felt bad for loving her, maybe she was holding the other lioness back?
Who knew. Sighing deeply Sozin stopped, glancing up at the sky. Why the ******** did she feel this tiny? Ugh, damn her! Females, can't live with 'em, can live without 'em.

So many things had changed since when he first joined the pride. For one, Vanhi felt so much at home in the desert, it was a part of his blood afterall. And second, the pride was growing every time he blinked! All he saw were little cubs running around and growing up to be big, strong Firekin.
And with that second thing, he did more hunting to help provide for the pride. This was one of those times where he was heading off into the sands. His ears were perked forward as his purple eyes gazed over the sand dunes. Now, they didn't look all the same but different and he was proud he could tell them apart!

Sozin's ears perked backwards as she slowed her movements and frowned. Someone else was coming closer, a male- He was very bright. With a smirk the lioness spoke out to him as he padded closer.
"Hey-"
She wasn't rude about it, she had no reason to be.
"I've not seen you around here before?"

Just as he was about to look in the direction of where the lioness was a voice reached him first as his ears flicked forward. Oh? His eyes shifted and settled on a dark form not too far off, one he did not fully recognize as he did not know her name.
He returned the greeting, "Hi." And then paused to answer her question, "I have not actually been to this area all too often for my hunting rounds but rather the other direction. Perhaps that would be why we have not encountered each other before. I'm Vanhi," He dipped his head slightly in respect as he introduced himself to the lioness.

"Aw, that would be why."
She chuckled and moved closer, eyeing him down. He was like most firekin in color and size, but he didn't seem as aggressive as other males she paled around with.
"I'm Sozin, but you can call me So."
She smirked and moved to stand right in front of him, so they were face to face.
"You won't find anything back that way, I've been looking for a good meal all afternoon."

"Nice to meet you."
With her right in his face, he looked at her as he exhaled softly, "Is that so?" He mulled quietly for a moment as to what to do. Hunting will have to wait a tad then, there were other things he could do.
"You haven't ate recently then?"

"I had a meal late last night."
She shrugged, sitting down. Her lean frame curled as she yawned.
"You know, I could help you find something to eat. My lady and I have this place we go to for snacks."
Snacks. Smaller meals, whatever you called them.

"Oh?" He tilted his head, "I wouldn't want to intrude, I am mainly out here getting food for all the cubs and little ones of the pride really, not just for me."
His tail flicked slightly as he took another look over at So. She was a strong, proud lioness of the pride, one that was born here in the desert, as compared to him. But no matter! He was proud of his father!

If So had ANY female in her, it would show right about now. He was doing something for /cubs/ and not himself? He JUST wanted to help out? Well well, this was just her luck. Sozin stopped in her tracks and eyed him for a second before speaking out.
"Hey, ugh. This is going to sound very weird, I'm sure, but. Maybe you can help me too."
She blushed. Damn! Blushing was so lame, she hated how awkward this was going to be.
"My mate, Ana and I are in need of... a donor."
She snickered at the word, it was... weird.
"I want to give her a family but, it takes a male to do that--"
She stopped.
"And I know you know what I mean, so I'm not going to go into detail, but, ugh. Yeah. You think you could help us out?"
She would help him hunt in exchange if she needed to! Anything for her Ana.

His eyes widen slightly as he was taken back. Now this wasn't a request he'd ever encounter on before.
His eyes looked her over. Who was he to not take her up on her offer, afterall he'd be doing the pride some service and it'd make the lioness happy. "You're doing this for your mate and who am I to stop you from achieving that happiness?"
He nodded slowly, "I would be more than glad to help your mate and you out."

"You'd really help us? Like, no bullshit?"
She didn't mean to seem rude or anything but this was a shock, most males were pigs. She was rather pleased with this find.
"I mean, I am very thankful. Truly."
She nodded and smiled the best she could without gaging at the thought of him mounting her, EEEEEEE. She wanted to puke.
"We are going to have to work on the... baby making part later, but for now... let's just be hunting partners, alright?"

He nodded in sincerity to her words. He wouldn't back down from his word now, that was not how he was raised afterall. And completely obliviously to the thoughts in the lioness's mind at the moment, if only he knew.
His ears flicked as he shifted his gaze towards the sandy dunes, "Of course not right way," That'd be too weird for him at least, "But hunting sounds good right about now."
