San...Kun??!

When referring to a man, boy,girl,women don't you say Kun for a boy/man and San for a girl/woman? I've been watching some anime (not the best way to learn Japanese ^.^; ) and I've noticed that's what they say. Please tel me if I'm wrong!!!

You're both ways (:
"kun" is strictly for boys (in most cases, young boys) and "san" is for anyone basically. It depends on your relationship with that person and whatnot.

Isn't 'くん' for any males that are younger than you, and the relationship is close enough that a person doesn't have to use 'さん'?

You can call anyone "san" and "kun" (granted that the boy is a young man).

Basically.
Like my Japanese teacher calls me "Jasmine-san", but she calls my guy friends in the class "~kun".

san is simply mr or mrs,
kun is use for some students regardless of gender and employers would call the workers kun,
chan is what is usualy used for girls but you can call a boy or girl chan as well which is use when it comes to little kids, and girls tend to some times call their boyfriends chan to ad cuteness as well as veryastions such as tan or pyon.

sama is mainly the term for lord or master it is basicly a high title to the persons name such as ojoosama mening master or mistress.
and there is dono this term is higher then sama it what you would call someone like a president, i not that sure on that one tho, i just know it is higher then sama.

well, I think you an use "kun" to address boys, you can also use it to address girls for some reason.. use "chan" to address girls and use it to address boys to make it sound cute.. "san" also refers to Ms. or Mr.. "sama"is used to address people who deserve high respect or whom you respect more than normal? some usually use them to address popular or rich people there.. is that right?
