Not only are these games coming out, but we also have Sony's "Gem" and Microsoft's "Project Natal" due this coming year too! Yay motion controllers?

Any games you excited for? Which ones do you think is just overly hyped and will fail in sales? Which is a Day 1 must buy? What console has great exclusives this year? Mention any game I haven't listed because I only listed what was marketed! Official release dates I will add later and adjust the list when more info is released.

The biggest must have for the year for me is Mass Effect 2 and Halo: Reach. Also, I am kinda excited for Project Natal as well.

There is definitely a big list here though of games I should get to add to my 360 library. I need to get a job that pays well soon xD I still haven't gotten games from this year... besides L4D2.

Aside from that, where the heck is Cave Story; it was supposed to be released for WiiWare shortly BEFORE I left. I desire to play the game on my family's large TV and support Pixel in some small way for the wondrous work that he has done.

I'm excited for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Metroid: Other M. I would like to see an epic fight between Zero and Karas (or even Tekkaman Blade). As for Metroid: Other M, I'm excited about the fact that it's being co-developed by Team Ninja (the developers of the Ninja Gaiden Xbox series). I'm also excited about Halo: Reach and Batman: Arkham Asylum 2. biggrin

See I am concerned for Dues Ex for that fact that Square has it, and the dev team in Japan wants there hands on it and the Thief IP as well. I just feel iffy about it. I mean they make beautiful CGI but... i cant put my finger on it.

Still, the fact that no one else commented specifically on deus ex 3 is disheartening. Deus Ex the original is god tier in games.

The game's already pretty far in production. As long as it goes back to the series' roots like Eidos claimed it would it will beat 80% of the garbage on that list.

I wouldn't say the list is garbage... lol I like a good chunk of the games on the list. I'm not saying they are going to be spectacular in any sort of way, but I do feel that Epic Mickey is going to be a blockbuster hit from what I read from Game Informer.

I guess we'll see if Warren Specter can make the gamebryo engine usable for anything that isn't a simulation game like Civ 4.

Also he should really be working on Deus Ex 3, not this =(

I highly doubt the new Zelda will be released anytime in the next year, judging from how the production for TP went.

Well thats why its under the Q4/Rumor/TBA section. I just dumped everything in the end because it was more simpler that way.

As for Warren Spector, I think he has a contract to stay with Disney's gaming development for a few years...

Odd. Ah well, I he honestly only did a few things that I have really high regards towards - Deus Ex (original), the Thief series, and the original System Shock (mostly for setting the foundation for its sequel)
