Yay! I was inspired by the thread about making Gaia stuff for real.

I crocheted(?) these in a full weekend. I don't know anything but single crochet and I don't know how to follow a pattern, so anybody can probably make these. I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Lime (a very flourescent green).
heart I just copied the face from the cool new plushies Gaia made. I want one so bad! heart

Awww, those are so cute. heart I know what you mean with beginning crochet and not knowing how to follow a pattern. I'm like that too. Made myself a pair of fingerless gloves that way. Or one and one half I should say. Right before I lost the hook. sweatdrop

That is a hell of a lot of cool.

I am very jealous of your feet.

Those are sweet! And they're made only with single crochet, too? That's cool, but I know I would love to hear more explaination of the pattern. (Cause now I want to make your pattern so bad!!)

I just did crochet around like a flat oval piece, kind of like a round potholder or the bottom of a purse, increasing until it was the size of the soles of my feet. Then I stopped increasing and decreased at one end of each oval to cover the toes. And I tried them on while I was making them so they fit my feet.
See? I really don't know my patterns yet. I read a book that said I was an "Artsy-Fartsy" knitter because I just make weird stuff.

And thanks for the nice comments! I thought you guys might like the slippers.
