What can you guys tell me about the M3 Grease Gun? I know it was intended as a lower cost and easier to produce alternative to the M1 Thompson, and I know it could be quickly modified to accept 9mm instead of .45, but I don't know much else about it. Do you?

Well, if you close the dust cover, it locks the bolt either open or closed...
