[Zaina'Nafisa]
![User Image](https://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y233/akjvet2005/rp thread/SoA Journal/Zafina-Nafasa-Soa-Journal.png)
Name Meaning: Precious Beauty History: Kept a secert for now. Personality: Happy and optimistic. Zaina nafisa is always trying to look on the bright side of life, even when there seems not to be one. For she is one lives for today and not tomorrow. Since in her opinion things will happen the way they happen for a reason, and everything will work out fine in the end. She knows every choice she makes could lead her down a different road, and is always prepared to take responsibility for her actions. Not to say she doesn’t love adventure, for she will jump at the first sign of danger and excitement. (Short version) Mate: N/A Family Background:
Extra Notes (for my own reference) :
Quote: The Jini-msemi pride is very spiritual, and very superstitious (details can be read here). Three years ago, a pair of swamp lions broke tradition, and a male saw the birth of his cubs. This rendered both parents and children 'tainted,' forcing them to flee the lands and the possible wrath of the spirits. It happened well before the birth of Acha'Macheleo, granddaughter of then-goddess Mama Bwawa, and she had no knowledge of it. Blissfully oblivious, she had a fling with Uxe, a later child of the cursed pair. According to swamp tradition, the taint last through three generations - the 'original' tainted lion, their offspring, and their offspring. This makes Uxe the second generation, and these cubs the third. Because of this, they cannot stay in the swamp; recognized for what they are by the lioness Piliroho kwa Kwini (who, unbeknownst to them, is actually their great-grandmother Mama Bwawa, who has become mortal), they are sent away within a few days of their birth. Acha, with the assistance of her great-grandparents the God of Water and Goddess of Earth, will take them to the Pridelands, where her own father's family is from. This is when they become RP-able, and where they will grow up. Notes: - This cub is not and never will be a swampie - they are not allowed back into the swamp, period. However, any children had by this litter would be able to go there if they wish, as this is the last generation of taint. - Acha will absolutely not be bad-mouthing the Jini-misemi. The cubs will be told of their origins, why they had to leave, etc., but that's just the Way Things Are. They're free to develop their own opinions, but Acha still loves her home and harbors no ill will towards anyone there. - She needs to stay with her family at least until adolescence! After that, you're free to send her where you like.

![User Image](https://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y233/akjvet2005/Pet certs and more/astraiamakkesewerucubcert.png) chi honda The Form: Cub Name: Astraia Makkeseweru Does it mean anything? Greek name meaning "starry one." In mythology, this is the name of a goddess of justice. Personality: Astraia may look different on the outside, but on the inside she is the same as her sisters. There is one quality she posses more than her other sisters, and that quality is that she is a fighter. She will fight for what she believes in, and follow her heart in each decision she makes throughout her life. Being the oldest sister she feels slightly protective over her younger siblings. She would never let them be hurt if she could help it. She would even give her life if it meant she could protect her sisters or even mother from danger. The thought of losing any of her family members does frighten her, though she will never admit it. She pushes the thought of death into the back corners of her mind, where she will keep it for the rest of her life. The reason she does so is because she wants to be able to be strong for her family. Thoughts that make her weary would make her weak, or so she believes. So she always tries to keep a positive mind when around her family. Even when she is planning her next battle strategy, a positive mind is what she holds. Prompts # and Answer. Prompt #1.
Quote: You've always been the oddball in a sea of black, being so white and yellow, not very death or war-like in a family raised to be warriors and protectors. How do you feel? Why do you feel this way? Do you confront your mother or sisters? (You may NPC Shinigami for this). Today was just like every other day for Astraia or so she thought as she opened her eyes to the brand new day. She woke up to another day with the bright yellow rays of the shining sun, glowing in navy blue eyes. As she shook out her fur in the warm air. She slowly began to stretch her small white, yellow, and even black legs as far as the would reach in front of her. As she finished her morning stretches she looked around her and could see the rest of her family was still resting. Astraia did not want to wake her mother or sisters since they looked so peaceful. So instead she slowly got up from her resting spot and tip toed off to the nearest watering area.
Luckily this area was not very far from the place they had choose to rest at. Which seemed perfect to her, sense she needed to keep an eye for them anyways. As she bent down to lap a few sips of water, she heard some other creatures nearby talking. So she quickly dashed behind the nearest bush, so not to be seen. Though as she hide in her hideaway she could the creatures begin to talk. From what she could make out, the creatures seemed to be talking about how their young ones took after them in certain ways. Ways such as color and ways of life. Things she had only just begun to understand at her young age.
Astraia listened just up until the creatures had left the watering area. As soon as they left, she wandered back out close to the waters edge. Deep inside her mind she began to wonder, "What exactly did they mean by their young ones looked just like them? Did they mean color wise...?"
As soon as the words came to her mind she turned her head, and looked behind her where her mother and sisters were sleeping. She looked at their coats and then down at her own. Their coats were so dark as if they were dressed for battle, which fit the way her family was raised. While her coat on the other hand was so white as snow with a dab of yellow, it just didn't fit. She looked nothing like them, she was a sea of white in a darkened sea of colors. So mismatched it was hard to believe, that they were even the slightest bit related. "Do I really belong in this family," she whispered under her breath, as she slowly lifted her head from looking at her own coat of fur. She felt slightly disappointed that she wasn't darker like her family. Maybe then she would be able to walk by her family, and no one would question if she was really her mother's child. Deep inside her mind she felt disconnected by the colors of their furs. Though she would never ever tell her mother that, since she had enough to worry about raising all three of them by herself. Slowly she turned her head back towards her sleeping family, the area she had left only moments ago.
As soon as she looked back towards them, she looked at all of their faces. They all seemed fairly happy and content, with the dreams they were dreaming in their sleep. Not only that but they looked peaceful, and those faces reminded her just how she belonged. While she may not look anything like them in color, she still was apart of the family. A family that was not your ordinary family, but a family nonetheless. They laughed, they cried, they caused trouble together, and they smiled together as one. Astraia knew that she was was different then the rest of her family. May be she was different for a certain reason, one others wouldn't understand. Maybe it was just cause she was the first child. Since she was the oldest of all of her siblings, that much she knew. Though then again maybe she was a different color because, she was meant to be the protector of her sisters and family. A protector for when they could not protect themselves from harm.
Her white coat would definitely help her to stick out in front of the rest. That way if they were in trouble she could distract the person, while her sisters could escape. She could fend off all the enemies that may try to hurt them, and warred of all the danger that could come upon them. Thoughts began to wander all throughout her mind, as she trotted back to her sleeping area. These thoughts were thoughts of what exactly she could do, and what her coat would be useful for in the future. Paw after paw she trotted, thoughts still racing through her mind. Until the final moment when she finally arrived back at her sleeping spot. The time when she began to lay down and close her eyes. The last thought that came to her mind before she drifted off to her dreamland was, "This is where I belong, with my family of darkened colors..."
