Tired of playing with the pile of parts that you get over at pimpmygun.doctornoob.com?

Want to see what a real AR would look like with your imagination run wild?

http://www.AR15Builder.com/ and start ticking off options. Photorealistic graphics rather than computer generated 3D images.

Sadly, it's only for the AR fans. But they've got a metric ton of parts to mix and match. Go to it!

Brownells' isn't so good on layering, and there was something with the front end of the gun that was constantly ******** up, but I can't remember what. Other than that, it's awesome.

The thing that stood out most was the shadow behind the rifle mockup. The shapes didn't match the specific accessories on the rifle. But the rest was damn near golden.

Didn't work very well for me. Could not drag and drop certain objects where I wanted them.

But it is more detailed than PMG. The AR I made came out to $3460.76, and that would only be if I didn't live in CA

I couldn't use it at all.

My ideal AR would probably cost around 2,000 dollars, or less.

Anything more than that and I'd say "******** it" and buy a SCAR.

Already here.

20" barrel + scope. I think it was priced at $3000 last time I saw one.
