Is it Harem to watch a TV programme or cartoon in which the characters actively take part or promote (and approve) in things that go against the teachings of Islam?

Well, dunno. Many would say no, many would say yes.
But it's again. Islam + the western world.
It's just not normal to not watch cartoon.

Yeah I'm with Tassan, why would you watch something that goes against the teachings of Islam??? Thats like going physically against Islam..

It's just that in the case of ,watching something that promotes something against Islam.
Most of anything on TV becomes completely unacceptable to watch instantly.

It's mostly the naked girls which are haram in my oppinions, not the physic.
I mean tv can be used for a good cause. Technology is not bad.

Or Programmes where the characters drink Alcohol, these are also practices that are against the teaching of Islam.

Well of course that would be a simple solution to a simple problem, however I was wondering in general what the official Religious approach should be if there was a unanimous clear cut decision to make.

can you give me an example to I can give u an exact answer?
but to answer u in general its not
but if its an educational program that teaches u to do things that are out of islam like a program that teaches u how to pick up girls u cant watch that even if ur watching it out of boredom its best not to watch stuff like that cuz it might influence u and u would want to do that some day.
but if the program is like a movie were ppl kill or have sex(as long as its not graphic, but when they start to get hot and heavy change the channel and go back in a few minutes when u thinks its done) and drugs and drink u can watch it in general as long as u know its a movie but if ur the type that gets influenced easily or its a child watching its best to stay away in general even if ur not muslim, did I make any sense ?? sweatdrop
