Some Were-Items are affected by glitches that gives you a red or green background behind your avatar if you move around using one of the glitched poses in a virtual world like Towns, Rally, etc. The Red Box Glitch never appeared in zOMG!, but the Green Box Glitch (shown above) seems to appear in all virtual worlds.
Recently, the Red Box Glitch seems to be disappearing (though there may be a few people who can still see it), but is being replaced by the Green Box Glitch.
If you do see it, the best ways that I know of to temporarily fix the Red/Green Box Glitch is to wear these items with your glitched Were-Item.
