She had nothing really to do today. the other Banu's were out hunting and she offered to stay home and take care of the cubs. She would really rather to do that than hunt. She didn't like hunting, she was a small lioness, a little larger than a Adolescent yet she was still an adult. She didn't mind her size except when it came down to hunting. She couldn't take down a animal as easily as her fellow lionesses. She could however take care of cubs, most of them were sleeping now anyway, and if they weren't sleeping they were playing not that far off or for that matter talking half asleep in the den.
She was slightly wondering where Tariq, she wondered what kind of business he was up to, to her he always seemed to be busy with one thing or another, but most of the time she didn't care. she still wasn't that sure of how she felt about him. She didn't mind the fact that she had his cubs, she hated the idea of it for a while but now she just didn't care. She cared about her cubs and she cared about her 'sisters' in the pride, well Ukoo. She cared about Tariq occasionally but that was only when he was around.
She smiled widely as she flopped down near the front of the den stretching out as she did. She was happy to be able to spend some time herself. If only she knew that one of her cubs were watching her. She made herself comfortable, or at least as comfortable as she could get. She was happy today it was a very nice day.
