It was another sunny day in the pride’s lands. A few tiny fluffs of cloud drifted by, high and far in the sky. Their little tiny shadows barely reached to cast themselves along the ground, and it was hard to make stories about the shapes when they were too far off to really be seen enough.
That wasn’t what was stopping Suha from trying though.
The little Banu cub picked her way through the territory, heading for a boulder she’d discovered not to long ago. It was just barely in the shade of a bent and twisted tree somewhere near the outskirts of the lands. Not so close that she’d really be in danger, Suha knew better than to go anywhere near the boarders by herself. But she’d mostly been kind of miserable lately, and the big smooth rock by the gnarled old mostly-leafless tree had proved to be a comfortable, quiet spot to lay.
A small hop placed her silver paws on the stone, the young cub turning around once before settling down to look up at the sky, chin on her paws, as the white tendrils drifted across the blue skies. Her stories were no good… not even Kisun had wanted to hear one. It was too warm to really want to run and play, and she didn’t feel like seeking out a friend or two at the lake. She usually liked to be alone in a spot like this to work on a story…but… but it was no good.
Ears, laid back, Suha watched the sky and wondered what it would be like to be a cloud. Just…drifting along, no one noticing, no one caring, no one to listen or worry or…anything.
