Through the forest past trees of various species it slowly becomes darker till your plunged into near total darkness. Continuing to walk moving around trees that suddenly seem to appear from the darkness and over branches, some small and some large, over shallow tree roots that catch the feet of those not paying close enough attention.
An owl hoots in the air and something takes to the air above as you go in deeper and then suddenly you see it. Just a few more feet a clearing. fireflies light the air with gentle winking of small brilliant light as they weave their way about each other in the air silent as the chill still air, dancing to an unheard melody it seems.
The last few feet and past the ring of bushes, lining the perimeter of the large circular clearing, and there in the center stands a large gleaming white building, a temple. Silver moon light shining down unto the temple illuminates the circular white marble building as columns inlaid with silver gleam brightly in return.
A path to the steps up to the temple is made of stones of no particular shape or size. The stone path is lined with small pale blue, almost silver, colored lights to better guide ones steps, least they trip and injury themselves.
Under the roof of the temple there stands a set of double doors arching in a half circle at the top. The doors are made of a rich cherry wood with a set of silver knockers upon them, at the normal height for a faekat. The edges of the doors glisten silver with runes, to protect those inside.
Beyond the doors lies a hallway, straight and long, it's lined with benches of padded stone for visitors comfort. The ceiling is the reason for the benches, as it was utterly eye catching and enchanting. The ceiling was painted in various dark shades of blue with stars mapped out upon it's seemingly endless expanse. Each star a gemstone set into the painted ceiling, no prongs nor setting was visible even upon close inspection. Clouds painted to blend into the night sky of the ceiling add depth, their darkness just noticeable in blurred dusted, and whisper forms. Some clouds long and thin while others were plush and short, no two alike. Off in a corner a moon is painted in all it's glory shining and setting dark clouds a light with it's majestic glow.
Nothing else in this hall would stand out aside from perhaps the silver candle holders lining both sides of the wide hallway, one could easily fit six or seven fae's in side by side across the width of the hall, each candle holder held three candles all were white in color and lit giving a soft white color to the hall and lighting ones way giving a dark but welcoming feel to any who should come to this temple.
Down the expanse of the hall it opens up in a arch, a column of white marble inlaid in silver standing at either side of this archway, to the right and to the left is a hallway both sides curving with the circular shape of the temple. Each hall lined with doors but the hall also continued froward. Going to the right would bring one to bedrooms for guests and followers. To go left would bring one along the stone floor and to a library, music room, kitchen, a dinning hall and the deities own chambers, which were kept locked.
Going froward would bring one to columns all around the outside of a sunken down room where a thrown is settled silver in color and beautifully carved with vines and night blooming flowers. At the top of the thrown is the god's symbol two cresent moons each facing opposite directions with a full moon between the two. An opening where the ceiling is nothing more then solid glass the moon's light pours in lighting the room. All around the thrown are pillows of dark blue, silver, pale blue, gold and black. The pillows were silk, velvet, and gossamer in fabric none with tassles but many with trim around the edges of one of the colors used on the pillows which varied in size.
Stepping down three short steps to reach this sunken in level one would notice the curtains behind the thrown and how the columns behind the thrown have just a wall behind them no hall, so no one could sneak up on the deity or anyone else. The curtains though were made of layers of sheer fabric, midnight blue, silver, white, dark violet and black, but not necessarily in that order. Stings of silver chain link, delicate in nature, could be seen laying against the sheer curtain fabric laying on top of it in plain view as it drew back some of the fabrics while leaving others to just barley veil the stone wall behind the thrown.
This is the temple of the moon...

Profile of a Deity: Name: Limdur (Pronounced as: Leem-dur). Name Meaning: Sparkling. Domain: The moon and it's phases. Holidays/Celebrations: None yet, Limdur is thinking of claiming the Winter Solstice as his for a holiday/celebration of sorts. If this happens we shall see. Temple Colors: Silver and blue (Any shade of blue, light or dark just not so dark it looks black). Alignment: Neutral. Angelique: Almárean Children: Calamaethor and Caladwen Loves: His mate, Almárean, and his two children. Likes: The night, the moon, stars, his followers, visitors, and offerings. Dislikes: Well he's not a big fan of the daytime and thus the sun, he prefers the moon and thus the night hence his lack of being a daytime/sun fan. Personality: Limdur is calm, though it's a safe idea to never upset him especially with that staff of his, though to upset him would be a very hard task. He likes to talk in a whimsical descriptive manner making things seem almost magical in quality. He doesn't like to just speak bluntly unless he has to, though he also does have his moments where he will talk in a blunt manner.

Profile of an Angelique: Name: Almárean. (Pronounced as: Ahl-MAR-ay-ahn) Name Meaning: Blessed. Domain of his God: The moon and it's phases. Holidays/Celebrations: None yet, might come up with something over time. Specialty: Moon magic. Alignment: Neutral. God: Limdur Children: None. Likes: The night, the moon, Limdur, snoozing during the day, family. Dislikes: Daylight, sour things, lack of a good night's sleep, getting messy. Personality: A nocturnal, loving 'kat, Almárean was made for Limdur, to be his mate. As an angelique, nothing brings him more joy than being with Limdur. He's curious about the world around him, both in the Sacred Temple of the Moon, his beloved's Domain, and beyond the temple. He's well aware of his duties as Angelique both to Limdur and to their followers, and Almárean has an odd streak of solemnity when it comes to duties involving their domain. But when he needn't be so serious, Almá is more then happy to be a bit of a goof, if it will bring a smile to his lover's face. His world revolves around Limdur, and that's how he likes it.

Children are here. It would seem the family of the moon has decided to expand to include children now. Also, all Deities and demi's are family, and are all welcome here. Just please...no family feuds within the temple. Manners must be minded here.
Name: Caladwen (Pronounced as Kah-lahd-wehn). Name Meaning: Light. Domain: None. Holidays/Celebrations: Whatever ones her daddy has here at the temple. Alignment: Neutral. Angelique: Guriel Children: None thus far. Likes: Her parents and family. She likes the nighttime and the moon, the stars. She likes poetry, and stories spun as their told. Dislikes: She dislikes confrontation. Personality: Soft spoken there isn't a thing which scares her. She's easy to approach, and approaches others even easier. Often seen when wondering away from the temple, in secret, Caladwen doesn't like the idea of her protective father still wanting to follow her and babysit/watch her from a far. While she likes to spend time with other fae's, promoting the temple, Caladwen also likes private time where she can relax and read. The books, or rather there subjects, cover nearly the full spectrum of genres. As of late Caladwen has come closer to the darkness within herself, this due to the darkness covering Faetasia.
Name: Calamaethor (Pronounced as Kah-lah-my-thore). Name Meaning: Illustrious warrior. Domain: None. Holidays/Celebrations: Whatever ones his daddy has here at the temple. Alignment: Neutral. Angelique: None yet, at least not that anyone knows of seeing as he's vanished. Children: Again, none that we know of since he's vanished. Likes: N/A Dislikes: N/A Personality: It seems we won't know this just yet as it would seem the young deity vanished shortly after growing up. We hope for his safe travels and safe and speedy return to the temple.
Name: Alyan (Pronounced as Ahl-yahn). Name Meaning: Blessed Domain: None. Holidays/Celebrations: Whatever ones his daddy has here at the temple. Alignment: Neutral. Angelique: None yet. Children: Not yet. Likes: His father's staff, he still likes stealing it though he doesn't nibble and bite it anymore. He likes his own staff also, especially for poking siblings and his elder sisters star friend Twink. He likes to roam about the temple or bury himself under the pillows, in the thrown room, and sleep. Really, it's not safe to jump on those pillows, especially if Alyan can't be found elsewhere. Dislikes: He doesn't like fighting, it bothers him when other fae's especially family doesn't get along. Another thing is he doesn't like when his or his father's staff isn't around him, he almost has a need for a staff to be around him or in his possession. Some obsession or fixation perhaps? Personality: He's lazy, he likes to sleep a lot, he get grumpy when he's woken up. Before he's fully awake though he can be very adorable. With a fixation, or it seems like it may be one, on staffs, namely his and his fathers, he always has one with him weather it's in his possession or just around him. He can be playful though more often then not he's curled up somewhere snoozing. When he's not...he can be found prodding someone with his staff, or if not his then his fathers if he's managed to get his hands on it.
Name: Neomah Name Meaning: ?? Domain: None. Holidays/Celebrations: Whatever ones her daddy has here at the temple. Alignment: Neutral. Angelique: None yet. Children: None yet. Likes: N/A Dislikes: N/A Personality: N/A
Name: Amaris Name Meaning: Child of the moon. Technical name for the star sign Cancer Domain: None. Holidays/Celebrations: Whatever ones her daddy has here at the temple. Alignment: Neutral. Angelique: None yet. Children: None yet. Likes: Her fathers domain, Night time, worshipers, being serious, her hair, family, civility, compliments Dislikes: childishness, storms, arrogant mortals, deception Personality: Amaris takes her role as a diety far too seriously. She acts almost as if the moon domain is hers, although she understands full well that it is her fathers and would never take it from him. She considers herself a representative of the moon and so acts as if she is constantly being judged so. She will take compliments with civility, but a distinct lack of modesty and can be quite judgmental of others. She often finds herself frustrated with her lazy brother
Name: Guriel Name Meaning: N/A Domain: None. Holidays/Celebrations: Whatever is celebrated at the Moon temple. Alignment: Good. Deity: Caladwen Children: None yet. Likes: N/A Dislikes: N/A Personality: N/A

New Moon: The newest members to the temple, most usually won't stay at this rank for long. To move up one must show up and be active. Limdur will put all who wish to be his followers under this ranking, as a trial period of sorts. This rank allows a fae to decide if they truly want to dedicate themselves to this temple and Limdur.
Offense will not be taken if a fae should decide to leave, provided it is before they are given the next rank. Limdur will always approach a New Moon he is looking to promote and find out, without being direct, if they plan to stay or not.
Cresent Moon: This is really the first true rank in the temple. These members are loyal to Limdur and the temple. They have proven they can respect other temple goers regardless of their alignment. Here is also where a second break in rank starts, and continues from here. New Crescent Moon's will have the full title of Waning Crescent Moon's while older members will be Waxing Crescent Moons. Waxing because they are on the path to the moon becoming larger and Waning as the moon is becoming smaller. This is to show who is new to the rank and who is further along on their path to attaining the next rank. Those who with the title of Waning infront of the Crescent Moon title should, and are expected, to assist those who have the Waxing title infront of the Crescent Moon part.
The duties here are to assist in cleaning the temple, Limdur doesn't expect his followers to clean his temple all by themselves! But there will be times when it will happen.
If there are things needed for the temple, food, candles for rituals, and other things needed these are the fae's who will be sent out to attain the items needed.
These Fae's will be instructed by those of the higher ranks, and on occasion Limdur and/or Almárean themself (themselves).
Quarter Moon: This is a period and title given to those Limdur trusts enough to assign them a Crescent or New Moon to teach and guide in the ways of the temple. There is of course a waxing and waning title added to this rank.
Gibbous Moon:This level is right under the highest rank and these members are looked to for guidance and to bring other fae's to the temple. These fae's also will teach and guide those below them in rank and the ones who have been members to this rank longer will, of course, make the new fae's to this rank comfortable. These will be the fae's who will be trusted to babysit the children when the parents are not in the temple, along with those of the Full Moon rank.
Full Moon: This rank is reserved for Limdur's most trusted the ones he will have assist him in his teachings. The few who attain this rank will know Limdur as well as his Angelique will. Full Moon's have proven themselves to Limdur and have pleased him they will be the ones he will go to if he needs personal opinions and such when he does need such. These will also be the ones he will ask to assist in teaching his children when he and his mate are unable to.
Seraphim: This is a race as well as a rank! These females are angelic warriors. They can be strong or tactical but they are usually behind most wars or battles between the deities. Not much else can be said of these devoted warriors.

Laid spread out amongst the pillows at the foot of his throne his tail moving lazily back and forth against a fairly large pillow of silver shimmery silk, that was gathered every half inch to give depth. His body was laid out along several other pillows a extra thick and fluffy pillow was under his head.
Long snow white hair gleamed under the light of the moon and lay draped over pillows like a river as it flowed along and down pillows to end on the floor in strands of snow white tresses. Bangs obscured one blue eye while the other, which was highly decorated, stared up at the night sky and the moon which he held domain over, now that the previous moon deity was gone and for so long.
He couldn't help but wonder what had happened to the previous deity of the moon, where had she gone and why? Why had she not told a single person? Who had she been and what had she been like? He had found out the previous holder of this domain had been female.
The reason he was thinking of her, once again, was due to his original thoughts of where his lovely mate had gone to. His mate had...vanished and left him heart broken. His lovely little moon had gone off in search of their son and had not yet returned. It was something which brought a great sadness to Limdur. The only comfort he found was within his daughter and nights like this when the moon was full and it's light poured down into the temple from overhead.
One paw came up to gently lay across the top of his head, drooping there limply.

Padding into the siting room of the temple Caladwen wasn't surprised to see her father. Ever since her brother, and daddy, had gone missing she had been shuffling about the temple much like her father. It was a depression they both felt, a need for the other half to their family. It was a deep seeded need, like the need of a man in a desert for water. But this was an emotional need, not a physical one.
Drifting down the steps and toward her father Caladwen gently, so as not to disturb the moment, settled herself next to her father. Cuddling into him, despite being an adult, her head resting against her fathers chest. "It's alright father...they'll return I'm sure of it." The little Goddess whispered, slender fingers rising up to finger her necklace.
"I know it, daddy loves you too much to not return, and Calamaethor would never just run away and not return." Their had to have been some reason. She hoped their was, because somehow she just couldn't see what sort of reason to banish into the night there could be.
Smiling softly as she felt her hair being pet, ever so gently, a soft sigh escaped the young Goddesses lips. "Till they return we'll have each other." And she meant it. She wouldn't be leaving the temple till they returned, an even then she would stay for a while...basking in the warmth of a completed family that she had till their disappearance taken for granted. She had been known to run off and wonder Faetasia, she didn't like how her father followed her and watched her, he was over protective. But now...right now she couldn't see leaving his presence, let alone the temple.

This was where Vanity came in. It was times like these when she was glad she was here. She may be a warrior but she doubted this God would ever have need of that particular purpose of being of hers. No, she didn't see him starting a war with a family member of his or one starting a war with him. This didn't mean she wasn't needed though.
She had come here, almost sensing a need for her here. A calling if you will. It was a depressed God and his daughter she found. Vanity had quickly offered her services, not as the warrior she was, but as whatever they needed or wanted. Tonight she was awake and watching father and daughter mourn their loss of family.
Bi-colored eyes blurred with unshed tears for their sorrow, which she felt so strongly from the two. How she wished to go and embrace them, to tell them she would find their missing family members, but alas she had not been able to find either member to this family. Slowly she turned and made for her room, which was down the same wing as the God, his daughter, and the untouched sons room. Her own was at the start of that hall, the first door on the left.
"I hope they return soon...I do not think Lord Limdur and Lady Caladwen will survive, mentally, if they do not return soon." She whispered to herself, hugging herself tightly to give herself some comfort.

The large heavy wooden doors made a sigh in relief as they opened and closed. Soft and slow steps where heard in the long hall empty hall, getting ever so slightly louder as he neared the throne room.
Almàrean heard soft spoken words giving him a jolt in his chest that he would be returning to not only his love, but his daughter whom he was worried about disappointing. He was worried she may run off herself in search of her lost sibling. At all costs he would not allow that to happen, one missing child was more than enough. The pain it dealt on all was massive.
He walked into view after taking a deep breath. "I'm home, my love." He gave a half-hearted smile.

Two heads lifted at the sound. Limdur had heard someone enter his temple, he was very aware of what went on in this marble building. It was after all his temple, built by himself when he had still been alone. He had not expected for it to be his mate, though he normally would be able to sense his love, he was too into his own thoughts to do so this time.
Taken by surprise, and noting their daughter was as well, he shifted to sit up, propping her up against his body. "Why don't you go to your room my little star, I do believe your daddy and I need to speak together."His whisper soft voice carried even to where his mate stood, as it always managed somehow to carry so well.
Watching Caladwen get up, which from the mountain of pillows was no easy task, he smiled gently. Kissing her and as she left. "I'll come see you as soon as our talk is done." He whispered to her gently. Somehow he had a feeling it would be a difficult talk he'd be having with is daughter. He didn't look forward to it, he didn't like seeing her so depressed but how could he help right now? He was in mourning also, and it had only been made worse when his little moon - Almàrean had gone off to try and find their son.
Turning his single blue eye to his love he let out a sad, but genuinely happy smile spread across his features. "I've missed you my little moon, come and speak with me. Tell me what news you have, I pray it is good." But somehow he knew it would not be, at least where it came to their son. But he hoped his love would stay and not be determined enough to leave him again.
