She was blushing so brightly this morning and though her sides ached badly she felt this peaceful feeling come over her, as if nothing truly matter- only this moment she had with her loving mate. He was so beautiful to her, everything about him completed her.
"Good morning."
She mewed, nuzzling her head under his chin softly, as if to wake him up.
"I need to tell you something!"
Her voice was rather playful and sweet.

It was at her side he was most at peace, only her who ever saw this side of him, saw the true face behind the mask. Theirs was a bond like no other, whatever may come, life or death, a love for all eternity.
Griffith stirred, a rustle of his wings, flick of his tail, his front paws curled as light crept into his dreams. It may have taken another nudge before his eyes opened, his maw parting in a wide yawn, limbs reaching in a stretch.
"Morning."
A soft smile, his head lowered to nuzzle against his mate. He could have fallen back to sleep laying there were her, staying at her side forever. That is until her words reached his thoughts, the sleepy fog vanishing in an instant.
"What is it?"

She laughed lightly at his movements before nudging him with her head softly, purring as she spoke.
"Well, it's good news, so you don't have to worry..."
She paused. Maybe teasing wasn't such a good idea right now, but she really had no idea how to tell him this, it was so unexpected after all. It's like they had talked about this before it happened... it was by chance and love. She smiled brightly while blushing, speaking out again to him in a rather soft tone.
"I-"
She stopped, unable to spit it out the first time.
"I'm pregant!"
Oh god, it came out, it really did. The words she was so very excited about, yet worried for. What would he think about this? Did he want more kids? She knew the twins had been a handful.

He sighed in relief, releasing a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding, a soft purr. Good news, he could handle that, a sense of worry had fled.
Wait, what had she said?
I...what? Pregnant? He blinked, staring at his mate, blinked again. Had she really just told him she was pregnant? Really? Really really? Wow, of all the things he might have thought she wanted to tell him, that was the one he had least expected.
'Are you certain?"
Was he unhappy about it? Hell no, he was ecstatic! It wasn't something they had expected or been trying for, but that didn't matter. Cubs? That was a wonderful thing! Small lives to share with his mate.
"That's wonderful!"
Though somewhere in the back of his mind he was wondering just how the twins would take the news.

At his reaction she smiled and nodded, her baby blue eyes narrowed.
"I am."
How could she not be? She had been gaining weight for a while now, and knew something was up! She felt so happy hearing his words, knowing he was happy and smiling.
"It is wonderful. I am so excited."
She nodded with a purr, nuzzling him.
"I just hope Mora and Airi take this news with a smile, too."
She giggled. She knew her kids were a bit on the unbalanced side.

"Mora smile? Not unless we let her hang them from the tree by their tails."
He laughed, his head resting against her shoulder. He may have been only half joking on that one, knowing Moira she might have actually done that. Or maybe she wouldn't have, brat though she was, Mora wasn't really cruel...unless you asked Airion.
"How many do you think there will be?"
He supposed he should have noticed the weight gain, though perhaps it had not yet reached the point where he would have. Either way, he could not help but smile at the goddess by his side. She was so beautiful, so precious, and if it were ever possible, she seemed so much more to him now.
He couldn't help but wonder how many children they would have and what they would be like...and hoping that they would get along better than the twins had.

"This is true."
She laughed, thinking back on Mora's actions as a child. She was always so headstrong and in your face about her feelings. Oh, she loved her kids. She rolled onto her side and glanced up at him as his wings covered her like a blanket, her paws rubbing her belly.
"I can tell I am going to be huge."
She joked, batting her eyes at him.
"And I am very sure it's going to be more than two."
She knew she was going to be bigger than life in size, yet she took this with a smile on her face. In all truths Zimran loved being a mother. She just felt so happy when she was. Her face would glow, her body would ache yet she felt this overpowering feeling throughout her body.
Truly, she couldn't have been more happy with this news.
"I wonder what they will look like..."

"So much for specific answers."
A light chuckle as he nosed at her ear playfully. More than two? Oh dear, something told him they were going to have their paws full. It was a frightening and exhilarating thought all at once.
"I don't know, I suppose we'll have to wait and see."
Speaking of specific answers.
His wings stretched, feathers unfurling each in turn and then finally folding back into place as they settled against his back.
"Perhaps there will be one who looks like you, or nothing like either of us."
He smiled, it wasn't too hard to imagine, though perhaps no child would ever looked as he imagined, fate was fickle that way. Yet it didn't really matter. All that mattered was the bond that they shared, the strength that bond grew every day. And even if she were to grow as big as an elephant, well he would still love her just as much.

Zimran nodded and smiled, nuzzling into his mane as she rolled over to face him, her eyes closed, body relaxed. This was a blessing in her eyes. This was perfect. The world could change one hundred times over and no matter how much everything else shifted, her love for this male, this God would never sway, never change. Through out time, life and death, they were bonded.
"You know, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here with you."
She smiled, mewing softly. It was true. With him, she could do it all.

"I would have it no other way."
It was only Zimran who ever saw this side of him, only her who saw his true self. To others he was distant, almost unreachable, kind yet aloof, a mysterious creature who may have seemed to know all the world's secrets but never told them. No other would have ever known that such a gentle, loving lion lay hidden beneath the mask.
A gentle purr, his muzzle buried against the crook of her neck, so soft, so warm. He really could have stayed there at her side for all eternity, perhaps he would, or at least until little cubs interrupted them with pleas for attention.
He smiled, his thoughts drifting to those of little balls of fluff, wondering what they would be and how the world would welcome them.

Everything would change again soon, very soon but she felt good about this change. Nothing would ever make her regret this life she lived, this man she loved. Not one thing. For now they would rest, taking in the news, sharing thoughts and sweet words while they lay together.
