In the days that followed their initial meeting, Afsar and Ilyas had met up several times. The two friends were near inseparable, and it didn't go unnoticed by Afsar's mother, Molemogi. Mollie couldn't have been happier for her daughter. It seemed as though all of her children were getting settled into their rolls the older they got.
Today, Afsar sensed something was wrong. She had woken up early because of a strange dream she had about Ilyas leaving. He would, she knew. Afsar's dreams usually came true. A blessing from the Gods, her visions. So, Ilyas would be leaving because he was of age now. He had to leave the pride and capture at least one female. All males did it when they got that old, right? Still, it didn't settle right with the orange female.
It was a few hours after sun up, she had to force herself to stay home and not wake him up, when she moved through the pride to get to Ilyas' family's den. Standing outside, she waited. He should be up soon, and then she would b able to talk to him as they walked to get breakfast. It was just a normal thing for them.
