It was hot out in the demon pride; but then again... it was always hot there. But that was alright; when it was always hot at least you never got cold. And that logic made perfect sense to the young green and black cub currently laying on a rather large rock; tummy up and eyes closed. A little farther away from her mothers den; she was closer to the rest of the dens. Recently having discovered that that was exactly where there were cubs other than her sister.

Burilda smiled to herself as she waited patiently for the sun to go down, because that was when everyone else seemed to be awake. She wondered if anyone else was up right now... she knew her mother was because she liked to guard the borders at this time. But was her mother the only one that liked to be up now? other than her sister or course.

She rolled on the stone and fell off with a thud but was up the next moment; shaking the dust and loose pebbles off of her pelt. She sneezed at the loose dirt and jumped back up onto the big rock gracefully; letting the sun hit her back now.

Burilda swatted at a fly with her tail as she opened one eye to look towards the den. She wondered who lived in which den; and which one the kings lived in. She was certain she'd be afraid of those dens; becuase her mother had once told her of how she'd had to fight one of them to join the pride; and that he'd been a ferocious warrior. And if her mommy said someone was fierce... then they must be terrifying!
