Well, that's not entirely true, at least I hope it's not.

Back when I was delivering pizzas about 2 years ago I was involved in an accident going about 25-30mph. It was hard enough that my airbag deployed. The other car just had rear bumper and trunk damage, but my car had $3000 of damage and was junked.

Now the woman's hired a personal injury law firm, or as I call them, Lawyers for Satan. Or evil devil-worshiping monsters. And apparently they're suing both me and, through me, the pizza place.

I got a summons this morning, had her name and her lawfirm's name, and then vs. my name and NOT the pizza place's name. But the legal document says that since I represented them they are responsible.

All I worry about is A. Do I have to hire an attorney, I can't afford one, and B. Since I don't work for them anymore is she suing me personally, because I'm not deep pockets here. My grandchildren would be paying off any multi-million dollar settlement, and I'd live the hobo lifestyle for the rest of my life.

In any case I smell bullshit. I don't know who they're claiming is injured, but if it was the car's owner, she wasn't even in the car. It was a relative that was driving, she arrived on the scene afterward, a short 40-50ish black woman, and told me she'd sue me for every penny. And then when I told her off, she tried to attack me and the cop and tow truck driver had to hold her back.

She's probably just trying to retire early or get back at the white man for slavery or Jim Crow laws or whatever, thinking that just because she's black and a cranky poor a** b***h that she's owed money. <******** b***h, work for a living like everyone else.

Was there ever a police report if so contact them immediately and talk with hem over the case they should direct you in the right direction

Isn't anything like that which occurs on company time the company's fault? The blame goes to the authority at the time of incident, not the time of complaint.

if she came after you i would try your best to get witness reports from the police dept. and the tow truck driver that had to hold her back... i mean the fact that she did that is major bonus points on your part.

unless she has a super attourny her case sounds pretty shitty and shouldnt get very far... and if it does end up a lasting one, you can always counter suit.

No it isn't retarded or ignorant, think about it, she's suing him for NOTHING, and she's old as ********, any person in their right mind would note that the b***h is stuck in the ******** past, and it isn't ignorant if you want their a** kicked why? BECAUSE it's no worst then what they put everyone through all the time, w/ their ******** gangs and they're ******** "The white man is evil." Bullshit, is this 2010 or the year 1940? Seriously..... working at a pizza place and being a delivery driver i totally sympathize with you.

a few things to consider:
1) what was the weather?
2) was it your fault?

depending on those there might not really be a case. If you could what pizza place do you work for?

But odds are she may see this as a means to get rich quick, get back at the man, or something.

She worked as a janitor or maintence person for a local university, she could see her life as being a low-income person as the fault of the system, or racism, or white people holding her down. While there is still racism in existence your lack of success may be more of just bad luck, lack of education, or just not getting off your a** and trying hard enough than any kind of racism.

But she might see this as a prime chance to get what she thinks is due to her because she's black. You would be surprised on how many African Americans, especially older ones who were around during the civil rights movement, who think they're owed something from the system or from white people for racism and slavery.


Oh and Jungle, you should know that it isn't just white people who make it a race issue. Minorities do it all the time, in fact every time it's something big over blacks and whites Jessie Jackson's there in a second trying to scream racism. And if you noticed in local news in the Tom Riddle trial, the jury was all white except for one black woman, and it was a hung jury because the black woman would not find Riddle guilty. You can't tell me that wasn't about race.

Regardless of race this woman's trying to get rich quick like every greedy ******** in the world, even though she's suing my old job I might have to get an attorney myself and that sucks a**...

It wouldn't surprise me if that's the case since she sounds like she doesn't have a lot going for her in life, unfortunately. I have... relatives... They look for every opportunity to sue someone, to get handouts of any kind really, and don't usually work and have continuously made terrible decisions. They're white too. So sue happy people are everywhere. sad

I hope the attorney thing works out though.. Maybe you can counter sue as someone else suggested. It'd be nice if you can sue for legal fees. I can't remember if that's permissible or not... confused You'll have to ask your lawyer I guess...
