I can't believe we haven't got one of these already! biggrin Here we are, a merry band of super sleuths and we don't know who each other is! gonk

SO! Why not tell us a bit about who you are and why you are here?

I'm Annie Anthrax and for a very long time I've been interested in mysteries and detectives. Before then it was being a spy, but that's a tale for another time!

I'm lucky enough to be studying criminal justice at university and it's frightfully interesting. My favourite men of mystery would have to be people like Poirot and Holmes with their amazing abilities of deduction! If only I had such skill! Although I do like things like Criminal Minds and Wire in the Blood because they deal with some freaky people! Which is always the most interesting. :p

And finally, I'm here to meet like minded people! biggrin Nice to meet you all!

Good idea anthrax Annie!

I am Evan_or_L. This is a name I came up to sound like heaven or H*** and involves my original name.

I am a sleuth wannabe. I am not quite there yet. My favorite mystery solver would have L lawliet from death note and Sherlock holmes, although only by reputation. My other heroes of the field are john Douglas and Brent Turvey. I have a book of theirs each and they have helped me understand the minds of sociopaths and criminals. I have read many different reports, am currently reading a textbook, and even tried to intern (But they don't prefer 16 year olds.) Crime scene photos don't bug me in the slightest although I'm afraid of blood. (Luckily only in certain circumstances.) Criminal minds is cool and somewhat accurate but not as much as silence of the lambs.

I noted that you actually had some formed opinions and when you said that you were taking courses, I didn't doubt it in the slightest. I'm glad to meet someone like you on gaia! biggrin cool (Csi shades)

Heya! I am Fallen Without Sin, or you can just call me Fallen razz I know Evan_or_L in real life, and I am now 17 years old 8D I looooove crime stories and always liked to try to figure out who did it, even though I failed most of the time xD I always loved watching Cased Closed, and currently I enjoy watching Castle smile I'm not a very experiences person in this field, but I do hope to study it and even maybe have my major as a forensic specialist when I graduate High School ^^ I love rping here, we need more rps like this smile

Anyway I'm Umioko, but you can call me Umi for short. I came to this guild because Evan invited me from the Death Note RP we we're in. I like this guild because it tests your mind at solving crimes and see how one thinks. Pretty challenging actually, but that's the good part!

Well I love detective stuff....I've learned many things by simply reading mystery series. I also enjoy rping.
and yes, Irene Adler is the woman that Sherlock Holmes respects... xd bwa ha ha

I must confess I haven't read any Sherlock Holmes, but I did see the complete 'Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' with Jeremy Brett, does that count? sweatdrop
