Manda
It had been almost two months now since the raid on the demon-hunter pride. 'Shen had found himself rather pleased by the little slave he'd taken ... for the most part. The only issue was that she didn't -act- very much like a slave, still. Despite multiple punishments and even witholding of food. Really, it was starting to drive 'Shen just a bit crazy. What did she think she was... a demon? Brought up short by that thought, the large grey male tilted his head... well... perhaps she did. There were several ways to find out. Smirking faintly, he walked to the edge of his den and called, "Tiis! Come out here."

Her ears perked when she heard the other call her name, and a grin spread across her maw. Really, her master 'Shen was a silly one. He thought he could control her, and really, she found the thought utterly hilarious. Whenever he hurt her, well that wasn't so bad...after all, didn't she do that to her playthings all the time? And when he withheld food? Sillygoose. Didn't he realize that she could so easily catch the little mice that scurried about their den? Oh he was a fine demon and all, but a bit dense at times. Padding her way to the front of the den, she rumbled, tail swishing energetically in her wake. "Right heeeeeeeere..."
Manda
'Shen made a bit of a face at her cheery tone, but chose not to cuff her for it - this time. Rather, he replied a bit dryly, "I see that. Follow me." Then he took off toward a little area where he knew the hunting was good. Before he could teach her the ways of pain, they would need something to practice on. Of course, the older male had no notion that Tiis often 'played' with things on her own, when he was out on duty.

Humming softly, she waddled off after him, seeming far too pleased with herself, as she always did. Then again, she was never scared of 'Shen. Even when he'd threatened to kill her...she'd waved it off as a silly notion. She would become useful to the dark lion, and then the shoe would be on the other paw. "Of course." Ah! She knew this place, lots of little furries frequented it. Were they going to eat something? Hopefully it would wiggle a while before they got around to killing it.
Manda
Once they were there, it took no more than five minutes for 'Shen to capture a rabbit - still alive. It did no good if you killed the prey before-hand after all. Now then... "Do you know what this is, Tiis?" he purred - mock-sweetly.

Well...if it was dead, it would be food...useful, but boring, however, it was wiggling, and her blue eyes lit up with grand expectation. "A wiggly-toy." She informed him, remembering the last mouse that she'd played with, nailed to the ground with the sharp bits of brambles that she'd found whilst out exploring one day. Sadly, he'd soon after died of a heart attack before any real fun could be had. Weakling.
Manda
Slightly startled by that, 'Shen blinked at her, eyes narrowing. Well, wasn't -that- interesting. "Close," he rumbled, a hint of approval in his tone. "A toy yes... but also a tool. To teach -you- some of what a demon is." Carefully extending one long claw - like a dagger - 'Shen pinned the rabbit down with a paw and then sliced one ear neatly in half - vertically. The rabbit thrashed and screamed, but the lion just smiled.

The tiny female's eyes lit up, and she thrummed happily at the rabbit's pain. "Poor baby..." She crooned, crouching down to the creature's level and watching with intense fixation. Silly 'Shen, she already knew what a demon was... but at least he was going to give her a good show. It meant he was useful for something...again...wondrously useful, but not so amazing in the brain-space.
Manda
'Shen actually laughed softly at her tone, as he began - slowly - slicing more pieces of that ear off. Once he was done, he went to the other ear and did the same thing. "The ears are a very good place to start. With just about any creature," he purred. "They don't bleed very much, so it's unlikely to kill. But they are ... very ... sensitive."

Her expression grew thoughtful at that, nose wrinkling. Now this was information that could be used later, something that might be employed in her playtime, and so she nodded, acknowledging that tidbit. Ears, huh? And weren't those screams positively lovely? Eyes sloooowly made their way back up to 'Shen...more information now, please.
Manda
'Shen smirked at her eager expression. Perhaps, despite that ghastly -pink-, there was a demon hiding somewhere inside of her. The idea pleased him, for some reason. "Noses are good too... though sometimes it's more ... enjoyable to leave those for last. So the toy can smell their own fear until the end." So saying, he tapped a claw against the rabbit's frantically quivering nose but left it alone. Instead, he leaned down to close his jaws almost gently about a hind leg - never breaking the skin. Then he jerked to one side and there was a loud sort of 'pop!' as the leg broke. "The temptation of escape is lovely... especially when such is actually impossible," he breathed, letting the rabbit go. It immediately tried to hop away, but fell over with a keening cry when its leg refused to work.

Nodding sagely at the older lion's wisdom, she slowly raised herself up and began avidly observing the rabbit's pathetic attempt at escape. "Very interesting...it's really sort of adorable, that illusion..." She remarked, tilting her head up to smirk at her teacher. "But that still leaves much room for play, yes yes?" She could not help herself, she wanted to see the rabbit squirm some more.
Manda
"Mmm... indeed. Breaking bones also will not kill, unless you break the ribs the wrong way." Reaching out almost lazily, he scooped the rabbit in closer again, and narrowed eyes at the young lioness. "Why don't you pick the next spot to hurt..."

"Can I use a tool?" She inquired politely, staring up at him with the most innocent face imaginable. She'd found a nice, sharp needle from a cacti not too long ago, and had found a place to weave it into her fur for future use... It hadn't helped her much with the mouse, but the panting rabbit below them seemed a perfect test subject.
Manda
'Shen blinked at that, but nodded after a moment - wondering what in the world she had in mind. All he ever really needed was his own claws. Sometimes a sharp rock... but not often.

Untwining the needle from her fur, she reached over, and rather daintily stretched one of the rabbit's paws out with her own...and then drove the needle through the sensitive pad of the smaller creature's foot, effectively pinning it to the ground, which resulted in a rather satisfactory squeal. Grinning widely, she laughed softly...now that was more like it.
Manda
Grey eyes widened slightly at that, and 'Shen titled his head to one side, eyeing that needle and the rabbit now pinned by it. A little purr escaped his maw and and he peered down at Tiis. "It seems that you've been practicing..." Without his knowing about it. Clever little girl.
o0 Sephiros Immortal 0o
"Of course." She replied off-hand, shrugging a shoulder and poking the rabbit idly with a claw. "If you don't practice, you won't get better at it...also...it's a lot of fun." Eyes gleaming wickedly, she beamed up at her teacher. "Wanna see what else I can do?"
Manda
'Shen only had to think about that for a moment, and then he nodded, his own gaze as wicked as hers was. "I find myself... very much looking foward to that," he purred.
