The day started bright and sunny and the sunlight streamed in to her den. She was just so comfortable she didn;t want to move, it was very cushy in here and she realised with a slight shock that it was because someone was in her den. Opening one eye just slightly she giggles inwardly. It was Raha, how could she possibly forget that she had invited him in? With a sigh she stretches out her limbs. Itw as time to get up, she wanted to show him the beach today, it was one of the best places in the pride, the water was always so wonderful, but she would have to get up first.

Rolling on to her back she stretches out her legs one at a time. "Good morning world." She whispers her eyes still closed tightly, she was enjoying the suns heat far too much to open them, and they weren't in any hurry, he was staying for a few days after all, they had plenty of time to explore.


His ears twitched lightly at the soft words she let out, a small smile coming across Raha's lips as he cracked an eye open to look to the girl curiously, and a bit lazily. He always had been a light sleeper and all her movement had woken him easily. Though, he was more than content to lay there and watch her for as long as the lioness would let him laze about. " And good-morning yourself, beautiful.. " He teased in a thick tone, before opening his jaw wide in a long, drawn out yawn.

Finally he moved to shift on his stomach, slowly stretching the tension out of his back with a deep, rumbling growl.

The lioness smiles and nods an affirmative "Yes, water as far as you can see, it's not for drinking though, it's salty to taste." She smiles opening her eyes to groom the big males mane, he didn't look too scruffy in his wakening, which was a good thing, she wondered how she looked in the morning light but the thought passed quick enough.

"It's a beautiful place, you'll like it." She smiles stretching out her limbs once again and rolling on to her stomach slowly touching her nose to his. "We can go when you're ready, theres no hurry, it's such a nice morning to just relax."


He let out a rumbling chuckle as their noses touched, tilting his head a bit to rest it on her chest now that she's rolled over. " Relaxing here a bit longer is tempting... But I do have some trouble sitting still. " He smiled, nuzzling at her fur a bit before he got up to his feet to stand over her. " Besides.. I'm excited to see this endless water! " He grinned, leaning back down to nudge at her to get up childishly.

Leading the big white male down away format he dens the dark lioness leaps through the grasses, carefully dodging the stringy sharp grass at the edge of the beach before leaping on to the pale sands, she strikes a pose "Tadaa, water that goes on forever." She grins, her golden eyes smiling brightly, as she points towards the glistening blue waters of the sea.

Raha was hardly as lucky at dodging the grass, practically skipping through it to get ot the much safer, softer sands, letting out a sigh of relief when his paws finally touched the sands. He was soon enough gasping out though, eyes going wide as he peer out at the expanse of water. " Amazing.... "

The dark lioness giggles and nudges him playfully before splashing him with a flourish of her paw. "Silly, waters nothing to be afraid of." She smiles dashing off along the beach sticking to the shallows causing a flurry of watery rainbows to follow her bouncy journey.

" No.. No I suppose it's not.. " He smiled slowly, giving her a headstart before he gave chase with a playful growl, dashing out after the female through the water, shending up his own thick flurrys and jets of water. No. No he may not stay. But he was going to make the most of this.

With a sigh the dark lioness closes her eyes a little tighter, enjoying the sun and allowing it's rays to drag her in to an afternoon nap. Just her and Raha, it sounded like a wonderful thing.
