It had been a nice few days, a lovely few days actually, having a friend around was so much fun. She had certainly been busy showing him the sites, though she had made sure she had hunted for herself and the pride while having fun with the large white, pink and black maned male.
Still, she had a feeling that he would be leaving soon. This didn't seem like home to him, he was enjoying the sites that was for sure but, he didn't seem to be enjoying it enough to settle down. She really didn't mind, she had, had a good time with him and that was all that mattered.
She assumed correctly, and the male had made no move to try to hide this fasct. He saw no need to. They both knew what this was from they start, they both knew he was very unlikely to stay past a week. But, he didn't outright say it either, however. There really was no reason to bring it up before it was time to. He didn't want their pleasant mood to change. Even if he was leaving soon, he honesly, fully enjoyed himself here with Tia.
Soon.. Soon he would have to. In the next day. Maybe two. He couldn't stay any longer, he'd already been far longer than he'd plsnnrf. Slowly, he shifted up where he lay, letting out a lazy yawn before a grin stretched over his maw. Morning light was shining through into the female's den after another night curled around eachother and he slowly tilting his head up to n** at one of her ears before begining to teasingly groom his friend.

The lioness smiles happily at her pale friend, her golden eyes turning up to smile at him. "I'm glad your awake." She smiles nipping his ear before getting to her paws. "Come, I think it's time to take you to the borders." She chuckles lightly licking the tip of his nose "Theres nothing more I can show you here." She smiles in a loving, friendly manner. She adored the big pale male but she didn't want to hold him back from his journey. It was time, she knew, for him to move on.
Moving towards the dens entrance she looks back at him and smiles. "It has been nice having someone else in my den. I think I'll invite someone else in when you're gone, it's very cold sleeping alone." She chuckles and shakes her dark head. "silly, I know. Come, lets get a move on I can hunt on my way back."
He smiled softly at her understanding, slowly moving to get up to his feet and pad along after her, nudging up against her side a bit. " I enjoyed seeing your home, Tia. It's an amazing place. But.. It's not my home. It dosn't feel like the place I'm supposed to be.. And you don't feel like the the one that's waiting for me.. " He chuckled out, giving his friend a grin. " Though I had a lot of fun here. It's a great vacation spot. "

The lioness chuckles quietly. "I don't think I'm waiting for anyone Raha, I'm happy just to know I am home. You'll find your place, I just know it." She smiles padding out in to the sunlight with her tail flickering happily, pressing her should against his. "Maybe you'll come and visit me some day huh? When you find a place to live I mean, a place to call home?"
" I will. " He agreed, , giving a light lick to her cheek before he looked up toward the sun, eyes half shutting against it. " It would only be fair, after all, right? You showed me all around your home... Once I find mine, I have to come back eventually, and tell you all about it, what it's like, the kind of lions there, everything. " He chuckled out. " I'd offer to give you some hints but.. I'm not even sure what I'm looking for yet so we'll both be surprised. "

The dark lioness chuckles happily. "That'd be great, I'v been to so few places in my life, I found my home though, that was what I needed to find." She smiles and nuzzles his shoulder happily. "You know you'll find the perfect place to spend the rest of your life. Have you decided which way you will go?" She questions padding along at an even pace, though she knew this would be their good bye, perhaps forever, she didn't really expect him to come back, she was taking her time, asking him as many questions as possible. Seeing him off would make her sad and happy at the same time. It was an odd feeling to know you were completing anthers dream by letting them go.
" Hmm... North. I was thinking I would try to travel north for now. I've not been in that direction for a while and... it feels like a good place to start my wandering again. " He hummed out a bit thoughtfully. He'd been moving east when he found her. More than sad, he was.. excited to go... that restless feeling that had been building up was finally fading away the further out they got his smile brightenig as he playfully flicked his tail against hers. The more steps they took, the more aparent it became. The longer he stayed, the les happy he became. Settling down really just wasn't for him. At the least, not yet. He would miss his friend, though.

Mutia smiles gently and nods."North, it's as good a way as any huh?" She giggles and picks up her paws running in a bouncy flouncey manner for a moment, showing she was pleased for him in her body movement. "I'm sure you'll find the best place to live Raha, you deserve it." She smiles slowing her paws to press against him once again. "I'll miss you though, you know that right?" She smiles, wanting him to know that she wasn't throwing him out, she just knew it was me for him to go on his way.
He grinned as he flounced after her a bit mimicing her movement as best his heavy body would let him up until she was pressed against him. Smiling, he leaned down to nuzzle at her neck and give and affectione n** to her ear. " I know that, Tia. I'll miss you too. Alot. I'm sorry this couldn't be my home... "

Mutia smiles softly "It's okay, I understand honestly, I had a feeling you wouldn't want to settle here, but at least you've had a few days to catch your breath and get fed right?" She giggles and nuzzles his shoulder softly. "You make sure you find some where good to live okay?" She smiles as they approached the border, her paws holding solidly to the ground. "I think this is where we say good bye Raha." she smiles, her eyes slightly watery, she was sad to lose her friend but so very glad that he was going to be happy, back on the road again searching for his home.
His smile softened as they stopped at the border and he slowly shifted to sit back on his legs as he faced to female, head tilting. Grinnign a bit after a moment, he lifted both his front paws up to swipe them out and drag her into his fur for a heavy hug. " I dont like those words much, Matia. So can't we just say, 'I'll see you later'? " He murmured against her ear as he held her close.

The dark lioness pressed herself against his large dark chest imagining for a moment that he was staying, that he wasn't leaving to go on his journey to find the place he really wanted to live. She nuzzles in to his dark mane and sighs gently looking up at the big male with watery golden eyes. "Yes, I'll see you later Raha." She purrs licking him on the tip of his nose and pulling away from him slowly. "Go on you big lug, you'll have me in tears, away with ya!" She giggles jumping up to n** his cheek playfully. "Don't get yourself in to any trouble and take care of yourself okay?"
He laughed out as he moved to begin trotting away, and soon the trot turned into a run as he made his way north, calling over his shoulder. " Don't worry, I'm sure I can manage! Take care of yourself Tia! " He spared a second glance, one that he rarely took, letting his blue eyes roam over the female he was leaving behind. It was rare... This doubt, this feeling that, for once, he should remain.. Just a little long, a little longer. But no, he couldn't.. Shouldn't. A little longer would become a lot longer if he let it get out of hand! He nearly stumbled as he forced his attention forward again, running forward, running north and... running away from her, with a deep sense of foreboding... He was leaving something special..
The smaller lioness sighs softly standing still as she watches the big male run out of her life, she smiles and shakes her head. "Good bye rah." She mumbles under her breath turning towards the pride pulling on her skull helmet as she went. It was time to hunt and feed the pride she loved. She would miss Raha, but she knew he would find true happiness some where else.
