Anyone got any tips for pulling inspiration out of my a**?

why not draw some chibis of people in your life and they could be all doing smething in like a band then cut them out and leave half a inch of paper around them! it's fun! xD

maybe draw zoanthropes... or look at something in your real life a pic or a view you really like and then put some something in this pic you like ^^

Music. Lots and lots of music. Just draw the way the music sounds.

And don't do anything with lyrics; that will limit your creativeness to almost nothing. Just listen to instrumentals or stuff like that.
