The title says it all. Give a brief description of what your religion believes in. For example, I'll use my former religion.
Protestant Christian: Believes mainly that accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior is all thats really necessary. Read the bible and try not to sin. If you do sin, just sincerely ask God for forgiveness. Different from Catholicism in that there are no saints, priests, or popes, just preachers spreading the word.
Thats kinda what I'm looking for here. I don't want you to post the entire new testament, for example.
F.Y.I. I am no longer a P.C. I'm thinking about becoming a Buddhist, but i need to know more about the religion first.

Believe in God: I have faith in God but I do not believe in man's religion so church is a no no. I believe in having a direct connection to the Lord, his son, and the holy spirit.

I have three different beliefs...
1) God doesn't make sense therefore such a divine entity can't exist.
2)God is a cruel, merciless, and manipulative being who just enjoys playing with people.
3)God is divine being that has lost his power in the modern world's lack of faith and that he tries to stop the cruel, evil, sinful things, but he doesn't have enough power to truly do it.

In a nutshell? I have a tendency to ramble but I'll try:
Agnostic+ideas from Hinduism and Buddhism+Basic Pagan
I believe that a divine entity or entities may or may not exist and that things should be taken one step at a time. Don't be afraid to question the world and what people say is right, but feel free to hold onto the things that is felt to be important in order to ground oneself among others. There might be reincarnation but it isn't something that is known.
I naturally feel, though, that religion is necessary for people to belong with a group of other people who are like minded. Our brains are wired to handle a group of about 150 persons and we long for sociability and belonging with a group that will not question who the base of our being are. That I believe to the only thing that I know for sure.
(Sorry if that is lengthy or off-topic; currently writing a paper based on Zen and Buddha thought for a class sweatdrop )

Commonsense of BlindEyes I have three different beliefs... Your beliefs contradict one another. You say that you do not believe he exists, yet you have beliefs on his personality. I am an eclectic pagan, my practices deriving/being similar to those of the Outer Court teachings of Gardnerian Wicca, Celtic Witchcraft (NOT THE FROSTS!). My beliefs are my own and are not taken from any religion, though I'm sure they are similar to many. I worship the God and Goddess. She as the Mother, Maiden, Crone and He as the Hunter. I do not worship him or see him as the Horned God. I pay respect to other deities as well, but they are not my primary worship. I believe in reincarnation, though do not believe it is eternal. I believe that once our soul has lived enough lives, and experienced it enough, it will become enlightened and pass onto the next world, whatever that may be. I fancy the idea of the Christian Heaven, as the final place where our souls may go after enlightenment, but do not believe in Hell. That's about as much as I feel comfortable sharing about my personal beliefs.

Well, I'm an atheist. But I have small things from other religions. Like some of the principals of buddhism and hinduism. But I am very against most organized religion. I think they create so many problems. I just don't mind buddhism because they don't try to force out their beliefs. They just mind their own buisness.

There are plenty of religions and practices that don't try to force their beliefs on others. Do you actually not believe in a God or do you simply hate organized religion? If you do believe in a God, or higher power, what is that belief?

In a nutshell...well, I'm a non-denomination Christian. I believe every word if the Bible is true and having a relationship with God is the most important thing, and the basic things most Christians believe. I go to church, but I think gathering with other Christians informally is fine too.

roman catholic/agnostic: I believe there is one supreme being I just don't believe in the Church. Too much corruption. I accept there is something out there (Call it God, Allah, whatever you will). So far I think the bible was at one point God's word but when man put his finger in it, the word was changed and manipulated to fit the time and era.
