The sun had been set for a while now. The stars were up and it looked beautiful out. The sands were cooled for a bit. The siblings that were recently born to the lioness Azar had been old enough to be able to wander around but during the night they of course weren't allowed to wander out. The little cub stirred as he lifted his head before the rest of his body off of the ground. His paws leaving nice sized imprints on the ground. He was a really large cub. Slightly bigger then the average large firekin cub. The blood of his family running strongly through his blood. The fighting blood of generations of firekin. Sure his father wasn't born into the pride but it was sure enough he was able to be in the pride.
A smirk grew on Kakek's lips as he looked at his siblings picking out one that he knew would go out with him. "Hey." He whispered in a hiss like sound, he nipped on his ear and started pulling slightly. "Get up before mom does." He hissed slightly before looking around he could see the large body of his father sleeping on that far away from the group of his siblings, his mother had to be right next to him. A smirk grew on his lips as he looked at his stiring brother. "don't wake anyone else up." he whispered before looking forward and starting to creep out of the den.
Too bad the little cubs didn't know that mother's knew EVERYTHING. She had once been that age, she has too been a small cub that wanted to wander around and pick on everyone. She wasn't as much of a trouble maker at the two cubs however she did sneak out at night so often. She had always been a creature of the night. She still was however. She was wandering back from her father and mother's den that night. She had been visiting early catching up on stuff and also informing them that she was ready to fight and hunt if she needed.
She had been laying out in front of the den for not that long. She was happy to have a chance catch up with the night too. She hadn't had a chance in a while to spend sitting outside in the dark and the cool wind of the firekin lands. she was happy camper being able to sit outside in the dark.
But there were sounds coming from the den, the older lioness couldn't help but to chuckle, she slink off to the side of the den making sure that she couldn't be seen, she watched for the two cubs waiting for them to wander in her direction. She knew how she was going to keep them from wandering away.

Dreams of sparring, hunting and... ear pulling?
Daigre groaned softly and opened his golden eyes, jerking his head to pull his ear out of his brother's grasp. His limbs were heavy but his mind was quick as he analyzed his surroundings and the words being whispered to him. The ground beneath him was warm from his body heat, but when he rolled he felt where the cool night air had made once-warm stone cold to the touch. It was the middle of the night, Kakek was standing over him, and he was expected to leave the den with him. Pretty much another normal evening.
"Father's going to kill us, Kakek." He whispered, stretching to his paws and twitching he tail. He was careful to avoid touching any of his siblings, dodging over them as he followed his brother out of the den. His enormous firekin paws made almost no sound as he crept, and he was proud of his skill.
He stopped at the entrance and peeked out. Something was missing. "Is mom still at Grandma and Grandpa's den?" It seemed awfully late for her to still be gone. Usually she was curled around father, breathing slow and deep with slumber. There was something wrong here.

Kakek looked at his brother as he stood at the front of the den. A large grin was still on his face. He was very amused he was glad to be able to have a chance like this to wander out of the den and make trouble. He lvoed to make trouble. He wasn't even that sure why he liked to cause trouble but he figured he might as welll do it now when he had a chance to. While he was young and he could get into trouble. He would probably cause trouble when he was younger too but the point was that for now he was enjoying being able to make friends and such. "No he isn't. The cub said simply as he looked back at his brother. He knew his way around when he came to wandering out of the den. He was getting good at it.
He laughed slightly and nodded. "Yeah mama was out. She was waiting for Auntie Zii to come home, Zii does the gaurd so mama won't be home for a while." He answered back in a whisper as he looked at his brother as he got closer before he started to trot forward more. He let out a small yawn before pausing. "What do you want to do?" He asked his brother with a grin on his face.
Azar wasn't that far away, she was still watching from the side of the dnen. she was just oging to watch for now. She was going to see if either one of them turned around. She was more then sure that this wasn't the firs ttime that this happened. She still remembered when she was younger and her and her sister used to wander out of the den. It used to make her happy every time she wanted otu of the den. Sure after a while it wasn't as fun however one thing was for sure she wanted to give her cubs from freedom yet at the same time she didn't want to give them too much freedom.
Even though those were some of her favorite memories and she wanted to make sure that her cubs had memories like that she was going to have to stop the cubs and tell them they needed to be careful with times like this.. She very quietly started to walk forward, a grin was on her face as she did. She flicked her tail around before swipping out a paw and grabbing the two cubs. "What are you up to?" She asked quickly.

Daigre frowned and shrugged. "If you say so, man." He stepped out into the night and curled his toes into the cooled desert sand. The nights were so different here. During the day the sands could be almost scorching. He'd seen lions come without firekin blood and with no adaption to the heat, and their paw pads had been severely burned. He thanked his genes he wasn't them. But at night, which the icy white moon in the sky, the sands were almost cold and lifeless, as if every time the moon touched the sky the heat just died. It was intriguing.
He kept just behind Kakek as he walked, and that left him closest to his mother when she spoke. An angry, defensive growl tore through his throat, made less impressive by his immature vocal cords, as he spun and glared at the offender. It took him a moment to realize it was just his mom and he was quick to turn his glare elsewhere. "Don't scare me like that, Mom."
He knew it was too good to be true that she'd still be with Grandma.

Kakek was very happy to wander. A large grin was on his face, he was excited to get out for a little bit even if he wasn't allowed to. He crept forward a little more thinking about getting used to feeling of the colder air around him, thinking about what he wanted to go do. There was many things that they could get into but he wasn't that sure of what he wanted to get into exactly. He was about to turn around and say something to his brother before he was swiped up by a paw. He grunted but he had a feeling of what it was. It was only one of two things. He knew it was either his mother or his father.
"Hi mom."
Azar chuckled slightly as she leaned over and licked the tops of both of her cub's heads before chuckling slightly. "You two are really up to no good aren't you?" she asked with a chuckle. "If you don't tell dad I won't either." She knew that the male was a little more harsh with the cubs than she was but she knew that she made a pretty good choice on the father of her cubs. Sure she did like him but she felt as if she made a good choice in males.
She stretched her paws out a little more before letting go of the two cubs. "You know I used to wander around with your aunt all the time at hours like this. But let me give you some advice, wait until you know for a fact that you aren't going to get caught." She laughed a little more teasing the cubs in a way. She chuckled once more before stretching her paws and looking down at the two. "I was going to make a small run to the oasis to get some water, want to come with me before bed?"

She pouted slightly. He knew there was something strange about his mom being gone so late. He should have told Kakek to wait longer.
"We didn't think you were coming home." He frowned, hopping away slightly as he was let go so that he could regain some sort of badass composure. He wiggled his toes in the cool sand at look toward the oasis his mother spoke of, a happier expression coming to his face. "Could we?"

Azar laughed slightly at her cubs then laughed slightly and then grinned ear to ear then flicked her tail around behind her. "Me and your aunt Zii liked to go out around this time and a few times we got caught ourselves. Just don't let daddy know."
She chuckled a little bit before tossing a look toward the oasis. 'Of course we could head over there. Some water before bed always helps getting some sleep anyway." She winked at the smaller cubs before flicking her hair out of her eyes for a moment.
