Her pace was even, though her hip ached something awful, she didnt let it show it wasnt something she would let slow her down, though her gaze kept flickering over towards Moyo.
She was so happy to be with him again, and she knew that nothing would ever keep them apart, not now, or ever. She smiled to herself, the secret smile of one so in love.
Her tail flicked out to brush against his side as she nipped at her mane, though the heavy scent of others made her shift a tad closer to his side. She wasn't scared..but she...felt at ease, it puzzled her.

Moyo traveled close making sure that Neph was alright and out of danger. He wasn't right next to her but rather behind her keeping a good eye for things to come and things that might attack from the rear.
He heard whispers. Tons of whispering, it was faint, but he heard voices. His eye twitched, what was that... It only made Moyo more on guard then he already was and stiff.
Neph had a nasty scrape with a lion not to long ago. She'd been away from his protection and she'd gotten hurt. It was his fault. At least he felt it was. Moyo couldn't have protected her since it had been when Neph was out finding her self. He couldn't. It broke him a little to see her in such a condition.
The lion traveled keeping these thoughts to him self. He loved his Neph and wished to protect her above all else. But damn.. those whispers. Those soft whispers. He couldn't help but feel a little on edge.

Ecaterina, who had recently begun answering to Laf'lari or simply Lari now, was becoming used to the pride now. It had taken a little while, mostly to wrap her mind around living in an actual pride with other lions. It was such a foreign concept to her, or rather, it had been, before she had come to live within the Kizingo'zaa. Of course, Rai was a big reason for her living within the pride. Well, he was one of the only reasons, not that she'd tell him that.
She sighed to herself as she hunted calmly. She needed to find some food. She could have asked the younger members of the pride to gather food for her, now that she was classified as a 'senior' member, not that she was too old but still. She liked hunting for herself and Rai. She wanted to fatten him up. Afterall, he was skinny and he had called her plump, which she certainly wasn't, she was just well-fed, unlike he was.
The scent of other lions made her pause in her hunting, and raise herself from the ground. She didn't recognize their scent, but she didn't go out into the pride much, preferring to stay and try to organize Rai's den into some semblance of neatness.
"Hello?" She called out, to whoever the lions were. Perhaps they had come to help her hunt.

The voices, flickered in her mind, who, what they were she wasnt sure of, her ear flickered as she tried her best to ignore whatever whisperings were going on in her mind.
She glanced over her shoulder, at her giant of a mate, he was a good deal bigger than she was, and it was something she loved about him. She knew, what had happened still got to him, but she could only reassure him so much with words, she had to show him.
The sound of a voice, caused her to pause mid-step though, ears pulling forward as she glanced to Moyo, almost nervously. "Hello..?" She replied to the unknown keeper of said voice.

Moyo paused with Neph. His eyes ever wide as his ears twitched about trying to figure out where the seemingly disembodied voice had come from. There was no visual yet, not as far as Moyo could see. Only one hello followed by the white noise of the whispering scenery.
"...." He opened his maw like he was going to say something for a moment only to close it back up again. What was there to say. Who did this voice belong to. He almost turned to Neph to ask her if she'd heard it but before he could Neph had questioned the voice with her own hello.
Moyo stayed silent listening for a reply. The voice had sounded like it was nearing them... or near them. Were these woods haunted by the spirits of fallen predators or prey?

Lari's ears perked up when she heard the returning greeting. Oh, a female. Wonderful. She did like talking with the females of the pride but spending time around boys was what she usually favoured, oh well, she supposed, heading towards the voice. It wasn't like she disliked company, she was a real social butterfly most of the time.
As she approached, she realised there was still a second scent and she slowed her pace, cautious now. Why hadn't the second person identified themselves? She wondered, but did not back down. When the couple came into view, Lari slowed to a stop, fully in view and no longer hidden.
"What are you doing out here?" She asked, examining the pair curiously. She couldn't remember seeing them around the pride, which didn't mean they weren't members, it just meant she hadn't seen them. She clearly needed to get out of her den more.

It was another lioness, Neph relaxed from her nervous stance before she smiled, "Oh, taking a look around I believe." She said looking up to her mate, before back at the lioness.
"I'm Nephthys, but please just Neph." she said with a faint bow of her head, she was curious of this female.
"We're new around here.." She added with a light bob of her head, her tail curling around Moyo's tenderly.

Moyo opened his maw only to shut it again. A female? Were there others hiding in the trees. He doubted it. The voices almost sounded disembodied. Eerie. Really eerie.
"Madzimoyo," He introduced him self after Neph had introduced her self, "I go by Moyo for short though. Which ever you like though."
It was clear he was still a little cautious in his stance he had no idea where they were headed and no idea where this lioness had come from let alone the voices he kept hearing. What was up with this place? So strange.
"We're .. not sure where we are.." He was a little hesitant to admit this but he figured it could do no harm.

They seemed a little cautious, Lari mused, still eying them curiously. They appeared to be strangers to the lands, which was an interesting twist. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you Neph and Moyo," she said pleasantly, purposely using their nicknames. "I am Eca...I mean, Laf'lari, but please, call me Lari." She almost slipped with her new name, so used to her former but she was slowly getting used to it. Spying the way the female curled her tail aorund the male's, her eyes lit up. "Oh! Are you a couple? How sweet," it was said brightly, and without a hint of mocking. She did love couples, they were so adorable, especially young couples. Now she was older, she appreciated young love a lot more.
She blinked. "You don't know where you are? I can help you with that! You are near the Kizingo'Zaa pride." She lent forward, as if the next words were a secret, "a bit of an odd bunch they are but they're completely harmless and very friendly. I'm a new-comer myself, but my...companion, Rai, is helping me adjust to it all." She hesitated over what to call Rai too. Goodness, she'd forgotten the awkwardness of new relationships. It was so odd.
"Are you looking for a place to settle yourselves or are you just passing through?" She asked, smiling a little.

At the mention of being a couple a faint blush touched Neph's cheeks as she nuzzled against Moyo's shoulder tenderly, she glanced now shyly at the lioness, she didnt think she needed to actually say anything now, she merely glanced to Moyo and let out a soft sigh.
Her ears perked, a place to settle, to start their own family..it seemed like a good idea to her, but she looked to Moyo, she would follow his lead, if he thought the idea was a good one as well, then she'd be more than happy to follow him.
She'd let him take the lead this time around..

Moyo couldn't help but beam a little. So she'd noticed that they were a couple. It warmed him up.. alot. He was beaming.
But he stayed silent about it in fear of embarrassing Neph. His smile said it all though.

Lari smiled brightly back at them at their adorable reactions to her question. She felt like giggling. Oh, young love, so sweet and innocent still!
"Well, how about I show you to the pride and you can decide there?" She suggested happily. She would hunt for Rai later, she decided. Far more important to show these young love-birds to the pride and get them settled.
She waited patiently for their reaction, prepared to turn and escort them towards the bustling pride if they agreed.

Neph nodded her head, "That sounds like a good idea." She stepped forward, showing she was ready to take the next step, not only in seeing the pride, but in her relationship with Moyo, about finding a place for them.

Moyo opened his mouth only to close it. He smiled at Nephs answer and nodded.
"We'd love to see it," He agreed. "Could you show us?"

Lari smiled at them, when they agreed and she turned her back to them, a dangerous gesture if they had been threatening but they seemed quite harmless, she mused pleasantly.
"Of course, follow me and I'll show you," she told them, her tail flicking happily behind her as she started off towards the pride. She was confident leading them back towards the pride, her footsteps stumbling rarely.
"If you need any help when you're in the pride, feel free to seek me out," she added, as they drew closer to the pride and the denning areas.
