Like Van was oblivious to the negativity maturing around him, Ziirahdane moved through the white haven unphased - no passerby's gaze, no romping of cubs, no force of nature or god could disturb her where her mind was. She was lost deep within the folds of despair, underneath all the layers and walls of excuses and guilt and sadness that had accumulated over her years of deaths and rebirths. Some she could remember, others she couldn't, but they all snatched at her heart and pulled it down, down...
Down. That's where her eyes where, their eerie brightness barely registering the sparkle of ice and snow, nor the young god she neared, nor the long, soaked tendrils of hair that trailed behind her as she practically dragged herself through the land. Where was she going? Did it matter? Her brows hitched as she allowed herself to lift her head, the hair over her face sliding back so she could mimic Van's. What in this world was worth looking at with such intent?
Nothing, she scoffed inwardly, her weak smirk quivering into something of a grimace as she looked away from the cub and his innocence.
There is nothing.
