Night was falling, and the lanterns and candles around the temple were starting to flicker into existence, casting eerie shadows on the floors and walls. The shuffling of the various residents of the temple only added to the almost frightening air of the temple, but of course, that was just right for Syrrah and her family. Of course, Syrrah wasn't all doom and gloom. In her wing of the temple, there were all kinds of almost girlish accents and decorations. Trinkets and baubles hung on the walls. Still, there was something not quite cute about them, perhaps it was because you weren't quite sure if they were made of something that was once alive or not.
As usual, Syrrah was found lounging in one of the rooms in her wing, flipping through a book while laying sprawled across a silk covered pillow. Her long dark hair fell over her shoulder in soft waves, her wings fluttered slightly. She was humming quietly, turning the pages, engrossed in the book for the moment. There were only two things that could distract her when she was like this. One was the chance to torment her sister Virgo, and the other was her Angelique, Wraith. And since Virgo knew better than to show her face in the family temple, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Wraith was probably somewhere around, if she wanted to, she could probably find him easily, but for now, the young goddess was happy to let him find his way back to her.

He had been indeed around and about the temple. He had not been here long and was thus looking over everything. He was a curious by nature but also he wanted to see what was in this temple, the decorations down the hall of his mate was very interesting. The decorations he had a feeling had once been living things, not that it bothered him in the slightest. He rather found himself liking the decorations more at that thought.
The creepy air to the temple, as it seemed to just ooze creepiness, wasn't something which bothered the Angelique. Rather he found it calming and the darkness of the temple was something to not be forgotten. Having lived isolated in deep dark woods he didn't like the light, he avoided it at every chance he got as it bothered his eyes. This place was perfect for him really.
Moving down the hall that was his mates he peeked around looking for her before he came upon her, reading. Not one to interrupt, at least not this time, he stood watching her, his long tail sweeping the floor.

Upon hearing the soft dusting of a fluffy tail on the floor, Syrrah glanced up through her bangs, her golden eyes lighting up at the sight of her mate. If it hadn't been for the rustle of his tail on the floor, she probably wouldn't have noticed him; he was so good at going undetected. To be completely honest, she wasn't sure if any of her family had even seen him yet. Sitting up, she offered him a slight smile, motioning for him to come join her.
Carefully, she placed a bookmark in the book and closed it, not wanting to get distracted by it again. "Wraith! How have you been? Enjoying the temple? Did you run into any of my family?" Her long tail wiggled happily as she inquired about his day. It always pleased her if her Angelique was happy.

Smiling, a sort of small smile, his dark eyes on his mate as he left the door way to join her. Seating himself at her side, comfortably, he let his tail dust the floor gently. He was very good at keeping himself hidden, when he wanted to. So far he had done just that here, he found it somewhat amusing to know that none of his mates family knew of him or had seen him. Perhaps the night they had children her family would know of him? That idea brought a grin to his face, a pleased grin.
"I have been well. I have been exploring this temple, while keeping undetected." He spoke in answer to her question of weather he had run into her family or not. He didn't want to, not yet.

She nodded, understanding what it meant that he had gone undetected. The male was very good at being undetected. Sometimes Syrrah wondered how she ever wandered upon him! Perhaps they were meant to be together, two halves to a whole and all the mushy stuff. Or perhaps he hadn't been able to resist her beauty! That was Syrrah's favorite reason for them being together. After all, she was perfect. And Wraith was perfect for her. If he'd been anything less, she wouldn't have picked him and he would not have been her Angelique now. "You know, Wraith, you really ought to meet at least Daddy. He'll be so upset with me for not telling him or introducing you two!" Even though she was a full grown Goddess, she was still a daddy's girl through and through.

He hadn't given the reason for there meeting any thought. He had perhaps that night but not since. It had simply happened and he was glad for it happening, he was pleased and content to be where he was in the position he was now in.
"I know you wish for me to meet your family. I simply have not had to desire to do so thus far. Perhaps soon I will meet with them, with you by my side when I do so. I would not seek to have such a meeting without you there to explain my presence to them." Wraith spoke calmly as he pet his mates hair gently.
"Do you believe they will accept me?" Not that it mattered. He was her mate, her Angelique, and they could not break them apart. But still he did not wish for his being her Angelique to be a point of negativity in the family.

She grinned, giggling for a moment. While Wraith's presence in the temple would be news to her family, Syrrah had a little surprise of her own for Wraith, as well as the rest of her family. Her wings fluttered gently as she looked over at him, gold eyes soft, or as soft as her usually fierce eyes could be. "Well, Wraith...we may need to meet my family sooner than you thought. I have news that I don't think I can keep from Daddy, or from you anymore." Leaning over to what appeared to be a pile of silk pillows and blankets, the goddess pulled out two eggs, one black and white, the other gray. She set them in her lap, looking at them tenderly before looking back to her Angelique. "What do you think?" Her long tail waved behind her as she looked at him, waiting for him to realized that they were their eggs.

It wasn't often he was surprised, least of all by Syrrah, and she had not been acting odd at all recently. So he'd have never thought he was about to get quite the surprise.
"You've been keeping something from me..." Why was that? Why would she keep something from him? Not that he thought it something bad, she would not keep something that was negative from him. If it were something negative it would effect them both, and he would need to know and it was something she'd never do - keep something negative from him.
"We have...children?" The question came some moments after staring at the two eggs. "When did they arrive?" He'd never thought, or considered, being a father. She was right though...her family would soon find out about him.

Her eyes stayed focused on Wraith's dark eyes. They were so hard to read, but she wanted to know what his thoughts were. Of course, she could just ask, but that took away half of the fun! She bit her lip slightly when he said she'd been keeping something from him. It hadn't crossed her mind that she was hiding something. Really, she'd told him the first time she'd seen him since they're arrival. "Well, I wasn't keeping it from you. Just hadn't seen you. They came this morning..." Her eyes flickered to the eggs again. Carefully, she lifted the darker gray one and offered it to him. Syrrah certainly hoped that he would be accepting and a good father. It wasn't really something they'd talked about, or planned, so it had come as a shock to her too. Still, the moment she saw them, she just felt different, like it was part of what she was supposed to do.

"You could have summoned me, I assume though you wanted to let me wander some more." He stated giving her a grin as he took the offered egg.
Lifting it up he pressed one long ear to it, he didn't hear much inside. But he knew he had one child inside the darker egg. "I cannot say that I am unhappy with this news, I am rather pleased and delighted. Even if he didn't show it, the fact he said it meant a lot all on it's own."
Settling the dark egg in his lap he let his tail move to wrap about his Goddess. "Does this surprise please you as well?" He had a feeling it did, or he'd have known otherwise. His mate was not one to keep herself quite, at least when it came to her opinions on things. She was blunt and spoke her mind, so since she was not speaking in a negative manner he assumed she was pleased, or at least accepting of this turn of events.
"We should spend time, now, thinking of names for either gender."

A smile spread across her painted lips as she leaned into Wraith, the white egg resting in her lap. They had been quiet while she'd had them, which surprised her because she'd heard stories of eggs quivering and shaking. Still, it didn't bother her because she could feel the magic and life inside of the protective shells of the eggs. For a moment she drifted, her paws gently stroking the egg in her lap. Who'd have ever thought Syrrah could be soft, but it seemed these children would do so, at least for the moment!
Wraith's words ran through her ears and she heard them, but it was a moment before she responded to him. "I am pleased. Surprised, but pleased." Syrrah was especially pleased that her Angelique had voiced his happiness with the eggs. Normally he didn't express emotion or opinion in either way, so this expression surprised her. Yet another good surprise. "Names...I suppose that would be important..." Looking between the two eggs, she thought. She hadn't really thought of names until Wraith said something about it.

"If we cannot think of names, now, we can when they hatch." Perhaps it would be a good idea to base the names on the appearance of the babies. "It will be some time before they hatch, we must get a place ready for them." A cradle or something for them. He didn't want them on his and his mates bed, especially once they hatched. They could easily fall off the bed, with a cradle they could have high enough bars.
"Your family, how will they take this news of children on the way?" And how would the children look when they hatched. Who would have who's looks and what parts from whom? None of these thoughts did he let show upon his face as his solid eyes turned to his mate

[[Doot doot doot...time skip!]]
Nolan could be found wandering the temple attempting to avoid as much of his family as possible. Everyone seemed to want him to study the family craft and he had no interest in those boring books. He'd much rather be out causing mayhem and creating havoc on unsuspecting mortals! But no...Mommy-dearest got mad about that. Which, frankly, Nolan thought was a load of crap. He'd heard enough about his mother as a young Goddess to know she was no angel. In fact, anything but really! A scowl was etched on his black and white features as his large purple wings fluttered in irritation.
There was never anything interesting going on in these halls and he was sick of it. A well aimed kick to a vase that had been around for goodness knows how long sent the ceramic shattering into pieces. With a scoff, Nolan looked at the broken pieces and kept walking. He was in a particularly awful mood today as he stormed through the temple.

Drow was not too unlike his brother. He was also terribly bored within the temple, he had seen everything these halls contained. He had searched every room, privacy did not exist for him at least when it came to others rooms and such. He simply did not express this boredom in the same manner as his brother, who was the elder of them both.
Creeping down the hall, keeping to the darker shadows his eyes landed on his brother. He'd heard the crashing, and figured it was likely his brothers doing. "You really should not break things, it does not cure boredom." And even if it did...it was only for but a few moments.
"Perhaps....you should focus on something else brother....." Purring his words Drow let his eyes glow softly from where he stood in the darkness, hidden. "Perhaps....a way for us to slip out of here. If we work together I'm sure we can slip out and explore...." And his brother could cause his chaos, as for himself...well he wasn't sure what he wanted to do.

There was nothing to do. The Dark Angelic simply could not put up with that. Disgrace moved with the liquid grace of a kat with purpose as she crept into the temple. She'd heard a commotion and where they was noise there was usually excitement. Now, the angelic couldn't be bothered to go in the front door, of course. There was no point in getting trapped in polite conversation with a deity if they were simply uninteresting. So she decided to break in, sneak around undetected, and try to find someone interesting to play with.
It was her lucky day, because as fate would have it she found two someones to amuse her. She watched for a bit, making assessments. Clearly they were brothers, and by their utterly miserable moods and explosive expressions of boredom it was clear they were residents of the temple, most likely sons of the resident god. The angelic was intrigued on several levels, of course. If the sexual exploits of her mother had taught her anything, it was that life was a game. And here Disgrace had been blessed with brothers! What a game to be had!
The dark angelic crept out of the shadows and circled around the white brother before making herself known. "Looks like you two need something to do." She leaned seductively against a wall, lightly biting her lower lip and batting her eyelashes slowly. "Perhaps I can be of some use."
