Over the last few days she'd made herself rather at home in her skull-den. She'd been bothered by a few of the other pack members but nothing a few threats and some snappy come-backs hadn't cured.
Now that she'd cleaned up nicely and she had a bit of free time she decided to go in search of the male that had brought her. Maybe he'd have an idea of something she could do for entertainment.
She just had no real idea where to start looking.

Mbezi was roaming around, bored as he always was. Something needed to liven up this place, but no one seemed to want to do anything. What was wrong with stealing a lion cub? It wasn't like they didn't have enough. Then they could torture the thing, maybe keep it as a slave...yeah, then it could hunt for him, and he wouldn't have to do that stupid chore anymore. Mmm... He was walking along when he noticed a female he hadn't seen before. And for some reason, this bothered him. No one had asked him how he felt about this, and so he stalked off after her, intent just to see if she was even worth anything.

"Where is he..." She grumbled to herself as she paused in her search. He had to be -somewhere-. The problem was that 'somewhere' could be a lot of places in this place. There were so many nooks and crannies and places to hide and she'd never bothered to as him where his home was.
One ear ticked back as she heard footsteps and she turned around. "Tuk? ... no wait. His face is prettier."

Mbezi was feeling fine about it, even if he was normally a little grumpy, but the fact that she had breathed Tukutu's name made his mind snap. He growled at her, his back arched as he felt the hatred for that b*****d grow.
"Please," he snapped his jaws. "That old man knows nothing, it's why we're struggling to keep our heads afloat in this disaster of a pack."

She raised a brow that that. A sore spot! Score She thought to herself as she plotted how else to tick off this particular male. It was so easy to push their buttons some times.
"Really? Because he found -me- and i'd say that's a rather large step up. I think you're just jealous he's doing stuff you can't."

Mbezi laughed, keeping his teeth showing. "Please. He's the laziest little snot ever. My mother was so disgusted by the son he gave her that she went to my father, and properly bore quite the litter." He huffed, still proud of that fact. Even if his sister...wasn't active, not as she should be. It was fine, he still felt like he had weight to swing around, even if Tukutu was still considered the consort, and in some sort of power.
"He couldn't do anything against me."

"... you must be Meb...Mbe...that runt he talked about right?" She vaguely remembered Tuku asking her if she'd met someone yet and warning her about them. This must have been the same male. He seemed to have the sort of attitude that went with a warning and the need for a beating once in a while.

"Mbezi," he growled. "You shouldn't forget it, either. I'll be running this show soon, so watch how you talk." He did have the strength to beat anyone...except Tukutu. As the older hyena had somehow gotten the best of him, Mbezi knew that he wouldn't be mentally stable when fighting the old man. If he lost once, would he lose again?
"Ugh, shut up," Tukutu said, slowly walking his way up behing Mbezi to go next to Baki. "I can hear you screaming from across the graveyard. Get out of here before I have to whip you, Mbezi."
Mbezi only growled at the pair of them.

She grinned as she saw Tuku and he interrupted the brat's rant.
"Is this that runt you told me about that you kicked around?" She grinned toothly. "He seems to have such an attitude for a puppy." She didn't even know if he actually -was- younger than her but that wasn't the point. Seeing him loose his temper was just so funny

"Yes," he said, shaking his head. "He's an annoying one, that's certain."
Mbezi narrowed his eyes. "Oh, I get it. I get what you're doing. Just you wait 'til I find Ma, she's not going to like this." He snarled at the two of them, certain to make sure that the new female was not on his good list, and scurried off. Somehow, one of these days he was going to get Tukutu out of here. If only he could actually get it to happen sooner rather than later.
Tukutu watched him leave, shaking his head. "He is full of dreams of somehow taking his mother's spot, even though it will never happen. We need a new leader soon, certainly, but the time will come...one day."

"Somehow i don't think that would be a good choice." She waved a paw in his direction and laughed. "He'd end up tearing everything apart in a hissy fit."
He was rather easy and fun to bother though. Just mentioning Tuku had been enough to get him riled up. She'd have to remember that and make sure she did it again some time.

Tuk shrugged. "I think he'd kill himself before really getting anything done. He's not smart, or he just doesn't think things through. I'd be careful though. He will attack when provoked. I still think I'm lucky that I beat him, but at least he hasn't challenged me again." Tuk didn't know if he could do it again.
"Anyway, is everything else good? No other problems besides that idiot?"

"I think i can run faster than him." Besides girls were usually stronger even if she didn't normaly fight. She at least knew how to hunt on her own so she could probably get a few good nips in.
"I finished cleaning up my skull completely and organizing everything." She nodded. "I was looking for you actually"

"Oh yeah?" He was a little surprised at that. Just because...well, no one usually was looking for him. He was a lazy fellow, did what he needed and spent the rest of the day relaxing for no real reason. "Was there something you needed? Obviously you can hold your own against Mbezi, so I don't need to worry about that anymore. He's really the worst of the bunch here, if someone doesn't care for you they'll ignore you. He just likes to get personal."

"I've run into a few others. They were easy enough to get rid of." SHe nodded. "He seemed like he enjoyed getting angry. Habit of his i take it?"
She shifted and stretched slightly. "Yea. I figured you could give me some idea of what to do around here. There has to be -something- besides making Mbezi angry"
