Kamots had been missing for two nights now, she was worried for her brother. The woods here were safe, how could they not be? But she couldn't help but worry for her elder brother, he was the only sibling she had. With Matsi by her side, the only member of there pack with her at the moment Selena was saddened and worried over her missing brother. She also had to bring Rustline here to meet Matsi.
She didn't want him here though with her brother missing and Kamots arriving to see the other male wolf already here. It was that need for her brother, and for Rustline that had her standing not far from the family den tonight.
The den itself was a cave in the woods. It wasn't on level with the ground but something one had to hunch down to enter. But once inside it was nice and large, it was warm enough due to a fire pit they'd put into the ground. But also there was the way cold air didn't blow in quite as much as it would on a den that was an on level cave.
Snow and rain though were a problem, especially rain, but if you stayed far enough from the entrance that was easily handled as well. The ground in the back of the cave was where furs were laid out, furs they'd earned while here. Above the fire pit was a hole in the cave ceiling so smoke got out, it was why the pit had been placed where it was. Not just because it was near the bedding.
She had to do it, she needed her brother and to be sure he was well. But she also wanted to see Rustline, to introduce him to her family. Having stepped out of the cave she stood at it's opening, tail down and touching the ground. Tilting her head back, cyan eyes dropping closed, she let out a long and loud howl. Mournful and calling, crying out to hopefully bring her family here...back home where they belonged.

The mournful howl woke Koray with a start; the female jerking upright and casting her gaze quickly around the forest clearing. When it became clear there was no immediate danger, she relaxed and leant against the powerful form of her mate. Silently she pondered over the howl. It had been a calling to lost friends and loved ones; filled with sorrow.
“Viam...” She spoke her mate’s name, giving the blue furred male a nudge. Ever since they had arrived in this forest they had been well aware that others lived here, but so far they had chosen to avoid them. They were still smarting after having been taken unaware by a cruel female wolf whose strength and violence had forced them to flee.
Koray nearly snarled just at the thought. One day she hoped to meet her again and return the favour. Perhaps they would have both been torn apart if the Moon God had not led them here to this place. To relax her nerves Koray turned her head to lick Viam’s ear, biting down on it gently.
“... should we go introduce ourselves?”

As the nights faded to day the alpha of the Moon Pack became a little more then concerned. Normally when he'd stalk off into the night she knew his whereabouts. His howl had reached the skies carrying his sorrowful song back to her in his loss for a mate. Her own sorrow preceded her seeking Kale, knowing that Kasdeya roamed the wood back home. There was no way to warn her mate of the creature's reckless behavior. He'd return to the den and find then gone, or worst case scenario the den would be torn apart. What a horrible creature that female was...
She followed Selena standing by her side as she settled on her haunches, though her ears were pricked forward as if listening for the faintest sound. Slowly she relaxed and tilted her head back, though her hackles were raised as was the ruff on her shoulders. She joined Selena to call the pack, mostly Kamots but her mate as well.
It was a mournful song that echoed and sang in a soft yet calling voice, "My son where have you traveled? My mate where have you roamed? The pack needs you. Selena needs you. I need you. Please howl back if you can hear us..."

Viam had been lying awake for some time before the sound of the long, lonely howl woke his mate. He couldn't quite pinpoint it, but there was something in the air that left him with a feeling of unease. as a result, he hadn't slept at all that night, perhaps only dozing here and there, but even then his nose stayed alert and ready for what may come by.
he watches as his mate suddenly sits up at the sound of howling. the sound was far off, and too sorrowful to be of a threat to them. he simply lies there and waits for her to relax again, wrapping an arm around her sholders and she curls in against him again. Their shelter isn't much, but it does for the moment.
He flicks his ear at her teasing. Introduce themselves? after what had happend the last time they tried to be friendly? At that moment it was the last thing he wanted to do. In his opinion, right now they needed a stranger with them like they needed a hole in the head. But, Koray seemed curious, and Viam was hard put to deny her anything. Besides, the moon God had promised them safty in his woods, and that was one sight better than where they were before.
After a moment's thought further, Viam nodded his head. "Lets look them over, first... then we'll see about introductions." He was still on edge and not just ready to give in to to just walking up to a strange wolf, saddened or not.
