It was fifty years ago that humans had first inhabited this planet. Fifty years and we're already forgetting. Our home, our world, where we had come from were all but a foggy dream now.
At first glance this place was perfect. Lush forests, crystal blue waters, gravity, and even air were all present here. It was familiar to the place that we had once called home.
Little did we know this place was poisoning us. Slowly but surely we were biginning to change. Of course few had noticed. Those who did, noticed all too late.
Humans were changing. In a way... you could call it evolution. Some seemed to be resistant to these changes, some only gaining minor things from telepathy, to unique abilities. These people where known as Gracelings, or the Graced people. Others, however, were more easily noticed, they had become deformed, 'monsters' as one would call them.
Those who mutated physically were immediately shunned and looked down upon, even slaughtered. Those with new found abilities had to keep it hidden out of fear that they might end up like their more mutated brethern.

Ivan walked out of from his house, he winced at the sun light. It felt like forever since he had seen the sun, many people gasped when they say Ivan walk down the streets. There was some rumors of him, but no one ever dared walked up to him to ask. For some reason, a mass majority of people found Ivan to be unapproachable. Ivan took a seat on the park bench. "Hmm." He growled lowly as he pulled out his sketch book and began to draw the scenery around him.

"Ahhhh~" Lealth yawned as he sat up, one eye open and the other closed and watery. He wiped his face and slid from his bed while only wearing his boxers as he walked up to one of the windows in his apartment, "I wonder if today will flow smoothly."

Ivan could see the human's run towards the center of the town. Meaning someone had caught a monster and where disposing of it. Ivan's eyes turned cold as he watched all the people run eagerly. He quietly got up and began to move in the opposing direction the people ran, he knew one person who probably wouldn't leave his shop...due to greed. Ivan walked up to the store and opened it. He waved to the store owner and began to look at its art supplies.

Snoppe, who lived in another country made entirely out of ice and snow. Well she was a winter fox so she enjoyed the cold, hated the heat. She sat down, seeing a bunch of other white winter foxes and fox children running out in the snow, playing together. She smiled, as she sat down and fanned herself using her icey lace fan. "Ah!" Snoppe felt something warm touch her, but realized it was a winter fox, licking her hand. "Aww, you're so sweet." She said, scratching the winter fox behind the ears.

Ivan picked up apacket of papers and pencils and began to head towards the store clerk, I hope the excution is over. He thought, when he suddenly bumped into a girl. He glared at her, and picked up his stuff angrily. "Watch it." He said bitterly. He wanted to smack himself for saying this, hanging out with the dead wasn't the best way to build your social skills.

Ivan dusted himself, he shot a look towards the girl again. She began to speak in french, He knew fragments of this langauge, although that didn't stop Ivan from sensing her sarcasm. He bowed a little and began to walk away, he dug the heel of his shoe into her foot and smirked as he headed towards the clerk again.
