Well, it happened.
I was making grilled cheese sandwiches and upon transferring the buttered bread to the pan, I dropped the bread onto the floor.
Now, I'm sure everyone knows that bread always lands on the buttered side, but amazingly, my bread did not do that. What it did do though was land on the crust - its edge. The bread folded a little, but it remained on its edge and the buttered side did not touch the floor. I was quite surprised and quite thrilled because it meant I didn't have to butter more bread.
I think I've discovered a new metaphor for Kain's coin landing on its edge theory.
P.S. the sandwich was delicious.

That is hilarious Sarafina. I'm certain when Kain cooks he does the same thing. Or his bread magically floats

Heheheh, now that the edge of the bread seems to have fate altering properties, perhaps more people will start eating the crusts. :3

Shouldn't this topic be 'edge of the bread' than 'edge of the coin'. Although the latter is what draws us in here.
