Seriously? You've got to be kidding me. A 50 floor mission all the way through a dead castle escorting a Tyrogue just because he was called a chicken by some guys when this team's leader just woke up from a trip to hell, literally? Pamela could have done worst than just the word "Chicken" What the heck she is even thinking about joining this mission or letting her team mates take it? And what could be more interesting than an old castle was once a place full of blood-thirsty diseased Pokemon? Great, just great.

The silent morning cloaked the world with a soft blanket of warmth. Bird Pokemon flew through the air, finding food for their children. Three Pokemon walked from the guild to this dump then stood at the entrance of a huge castle now in ruins known as the Algendar's Castle. It was a Kadabra, a Poochyena, and a Persian with a pink-like coloring. It was quite sunny and a good amount of breeze blowing, a great weather actually. The Poochyena glanced at the tall castle, eyes shimmering under the sun's rays. She put a paw above her eyes before looking down at the gigantic double-doors in front of them. "Why didn't you just teleport us to here?" Pamela reminded the Kadabra that he knows how to teleport to places he knows. "Because I don't know where the heck this place is yet." They need the exercise anyway. At least they could enjoy the weather before entering the old castle when everyone has arrived.

The three kept waiting for their client and another exploration team they agreed to collaborate in this mission because somebody was afraid to do this massive, ridiculous mission alone. Their team is actually from the same guild as they are so it’s quite easy to contact with. What was their team's name? Something about...Lunar? "When are they coming? Are you sure this is the place?" Pamela grumbled, tilting her head to the Kadabra. They have been waiting for quite a while though. "I'm sure it is!" He replied with full confidence, narrowing his eyes at the Persian. "They should arrive any minute now.." Meanwhile, Nadia tried to stay away from another Vincent and Pamela argument that's about to happen, instead she kept looking at the tall castle, amazed by its appearance. She never had been in a castle before. But then, she noticed that the two stopped talking. Their attention was directed by something in front of them.

~Armand~Damon~Xavier~

The foyer of the castle was large, decrepit, and most of all, old. Absolutely obsessive over being on time for their first ever collaborative mission, Armand had insisted on coming early. The others just hadn't been aware of how early the Dusclops meant. The leader of Team Lunar Curtain and his party arrived so early to Algendar's Castle, that not even their client was there! So, to pass time, the team had been waiting, patiently in the foyer, for the past...four...hours. Damon sat, perched atop a half destroyed pillar that looked rather much like some old, fancily carved stalagmite. The Sableye let out a rather large sigh and let himself fall into a laying position on the flat top of the destroyed pillar, "Ugh, how long have we been here?!" Armand, who had been carefully studying some strange carvings on the wall (which looked suspiciously like average claw marks), looked up for a moment, suddenly re-aware that he had others with him. "Oh, well if my internal clock is correct, which I assure you it is~" Damon rolled his eyes, "Then we've been here since exactly 5:26:49 a.m., which means that it has been exactly four hours, ten minutes, and forty two seconds since we arrived." Damon once again rolled his eyes, "A simple, 'four hours,' would have sufficed," Although, Damon's retort went unnoticed, as Armand was now interested in a rather suspicious looking yellow stain on the carpeted floor.

Meanwhile, the newest member, Xavier, was probably the most bored out of three. He had spent the past four hours scrounging every last corner of this damnable foyer for anything of worth. All he found were piles of dust, rubble, and unmentionables. As he lay in the middle of the tattered red carpet that lined the center of the foyer and led up the staircase, the young Absol was basically having a seizure from his anxiety. Every few seconds he would twitch, his head moving from it's resting place between his paws to jerk to the side for a split second before returning. If they didn't get a move on soon. Suddenly, a faint and confident voice was heard from directly outside large, faded, wood double doors. Being of canine nature, Xavier was the only one who had picked up on the faint voice. In a flurry of excitement he leaped up, his tail wagging furiously, "Did ya' guys hear that?! There's someone outside!" Damon shot up so fast, he nearly toppled off the edge of the pillar. After he regained his balance, he gestured furiously at the door, annoyed at the new recruit's insolence, "Well then go open the damn door!" Armand had barely even registered the fact someone spoke, a small Rattata skull commanding his full attention. Xavier paused his excited bounces, understanding dawning on his face due to the Sableye's comment, "Oh, right" He then bounded over to the large double doors, and using his head, nudged them open, flooding the center of the foyer with morning light. As he allowed his eyes adjust to the light, Xavier was soon aware that there wasn't one pokemon outside, but four. Immediately, he assumed this was the Exploration team they had been waiting for, "Finally! You're here! Come on, let's get a move on!" Damon craned his neck to look at the source of the Absol's excitement. Noticing the small gathering of pokemon, he threw his hands up in the air in exasperation, "Finally! Arceus damn, took you long enough!" He was about to go on full blown rant, when he realized there was a Persian amongst the group. Wait a tick... he mused, don't they know Pay Day? Damon could almost see the dollar signs reflected in his eyes as he studied the elegant Persian. This was the beginnings of a beautiful friendship. Armand on the other hand, struggled greatly to pull himself away from his newest find long enough to notice they had company. "Oh dear, it seems as if the other party has finally arrived." He casually approached the front door, completely unfazed by extensive amount of time they had been waiting. Assuming that the tall Kadabra was the leader of this little congregation, he approached him, extending his hand in polite greeting, "Well hello there, I'm Armand, and I'm the leader of team Lunar Curtain. It's quite the pleasure to meet you~" Damon face-palmed and slid off his pillar, sticking the landing like a pro. He righted himself, placed his hands behind his head and joined his teammates, a slight scowl plastered on his face. How would they ever survive without Veronica?

They weren't expecting to see the other team was already inside the castle. "Well you could have said something earlier! We were already here you know!" Pamela grumbled back at the Sableye. By now she would cross her arms together only if she could like when she was back as a Meowth. Being a Persian means you need to walk with four legs. Nadia tilted her head to the Dusclops that just approached her co-leader and introduced himself. Before Vincent would do the same, the Poochyena introduced her team for him. "Nice to meet you too, Armand. My name is Nadia and I'm the leader of my team, Team Darkstar. This is Vincent my co-leader and she is Pamela." She pointed towards the Kadabra then to the Persian, slightly wagging her tail. "We're happy to collaborate with your team in this mission." She continued as she tried to be polite as she can be. After Nadia finished with the greetings Vincent examined the castle from the inside. "Wow, this castle must be like one million years ago." He pointed out at all the dusts and shattered walls. Well duh it is. But the odd part is that the half-destroyed walls were still strong to hold the density of this large castle. "Then could it be creepier when we're deep inside the castle?" She said, not the slightest expecting somebody would answer her.

The Kadabra then remembered what the Absol said when he opened the large double-doors of the castle. "Wait, aren't we supposed to wait for our client first?" He turned sideways if the client was already here. No Tyrogue in sight. Just then, they heard the sounds of footsteps. The sound stopped and another sound appeared; huffing and puffing. Someone was catching their breath behind the trio. Pamela was first to turn around. The sunlight cast a shadow in front of the figure. As he walked in his appearance was slowly revealed. He was a Tyrogue, a normal Tyrogue by all appearances with the same red and white coloring and the same height, just slightly taller than the Poochyena but not as tall as the Kadabra, a perfectly normal Tyrogue in any way. He actually reminded Nadia of a Tyrogue she once met in her previous mission the fact that they're the same species.

"Yo!" He exclaimed to the two exploration teams in front of him. "You're late!" Pamela yelled at the Tyrogue, and she is always grumbling, as usual. "Hey! No need for blaming me that you're impatient!" The Persian already wanted to claw his eye out but Vincent was quick to hold her from getting close to the Tyrogue with a little bit of Psychic power the fact that she was still more stronger than him. She then started to flail in his arms. But not much she flailed since almost every part of her body was held by Vincent's psychic. "Don't mind her." He said, trying as hard as he can to hold the Persian. Pamela finally stopped flailing because she can't flail her way out of freedom and took a deep breath, calming herself. Seeing she calmed down a bit, the Kadabra let her loose from his psychic. "Well? If we're all here let's go already!" She raced inside the castle; totally shows that she wanted to finish this mission quick. But that will take a while because it’s a 50 floor mission. A 50 floor mission! "Come on~" Nadia said before following Pamela with a flick of her tail while staying close to Vincent as they both walked across the filthy carpeted floor, hoping that everyone else will follow their lead.

~Armand~Damon~Xavier~

Armand's eye widened in surprise as the Kadabra was pushed out of the way, only to be replaced by the short Poochyena. So this was the leader? Surprising, to say the least. Casually, he retracted his hand, settling for a simple, "The feeling is mutual~" instead. He casually turned around and observed as the others took their time to inspect the inside of the foyer. "Actually, this castle is (to be decided later) years old. It was quite beautiful in it's prime, but now it sits here in ruin, as it is quite plain to see." He chuckled as he responded to Vincent's comment. Team DarkStar seemed rather friendly, and Armand had no doubt that this mission would go smoothly. It was just an abandoned old castle, right? What could possibly go wrong?

Xavier, who had been practically vibrating from excitement, stopped as Vincent commented on his earlier statement. The Absol's demeanor almost instantly turned from hyper-active, to calm, as he approached the Kadabra. "Client?" Xavier cocked his slightly in confusion. Armand paused his admiring of the ruined structure of the castle and looked over at the young Absol, "Yes, Xavier, this is an escort mission after all," he then added a small "...albeit a ridiculously long one." under his breath. Xavier let out a small disappointed huff, and was about to go on a long frustration fueled rant, when an extremely average looking Tyrogue, not that I'm one to talk, appeared in the doorway, panting heavily. Team Lunar Curtain watched silently as Vincent and Pamela put on a little show with their client. Damon cocked an eyebrow at the Persian's ferocity. She was a feisty one all right, but he vowed to get a Pay Day out of her, one way or another.

When all the formalities were said and done, Team Lunar Curtain followed team DarkStar up the foyer stairs and deeper into the mansion.

~~~~~
The inside of the castle was dark and as falling apart as the foyer. Grime encrusted windows let in a minimal amount of light, bathing the hallway in an eerie sepia tone. Without warning, the hall would branch off, leading to an equally long hallway, this one seeming to have even more doors that lead to virtually empty rooms. The wallpaper was frail and floral patterned, several spots housed strange looking stains, whereas other areas were peeling. It was silent in the castle, the foreboding atmosphere that seemed to come off of the castle in waves kept the entire group silent for the first half hour or so. Armand could feel things lurking behind the doors and even in the walls, invisible eyes could be felt watching him as he and the party walked along the seemingly endless hallway. It was obvious that they were not alone here, other pokemon lurked these hallways, but something was keeping them at bay. But what? Were they waiting for the proper moment to strike? Or was there someone or something telling them to hold back? Whatever it was, it was certainly unsettling.
Finally, in the middle of what they assumed was the thirteenth hallway, they found a pair of large oaken doors. Much like a miniature version of the front doors, except, these had a very sturdy looking chain and padlock keeping the doors firmly closed. A quick Foresight revealed to Armand that the doors did, indeed, lead to a large stairwell, presumably to the second, third, or maybe even fourth floors. "This door leads to the stairs..." he voiced his findings, "But there's something about this lock..." He gently pushed his way through the small gathering of pokemon to get a better look at the lock and chain. Holding it in his hands, his suspicions were confirmed. This lock couldn't have been more than a few months old. Was someone try- A sudden crash resounded through hallway as the door behind Armand burst open. "TROOOOODE!" A large electrode quickly rolled out through the doorway, and forced it's way into the center of the party, before begging to grow increasingly white, the Self-Destruct imminent. Damon, who was used to this sort of thing, used a quick Detect to latch onto the ceiling and scuttle away to a safe distance. Armand, also having his fair share of experience, quickly grabbed hold of the two closest teammates, which just so happen to be Nadia and the Tyrogue, and disappeared in a large cloud of shadow. Xavier, on the other hand, wasn't as battle savvy as the others, and was hit square in the face by the exploding Electrode. The young Absol flew several feet down the hallway until his hind legs were grabbed by Damon, who was still clinging to the ceiling. What a way to start off the mission.
((Cat, the explosion obviously removed the lock and chain, so feel free to go ahead up there, you should also have Armand reappear so Nadia can actually act X3 Oh and feel free to get Vincent out of the way if you want, just because I posted him exploding doesn't mean you can't take a bit of creative liberty. Any comments or concerns? PM me, please~ I'm more than willing to edit anything that you find in need of revision :3))
The castle from the inside looked more like a haunted giant mansion. Nadia was actually right. This place is creepier in the inside. A few small Rattatas soon flee as the team got closer to the spot they were. As they came across the thirteenth hallway with the same many doors, they slowed to a halt. This seemingly endless hallway finally ended to a stop as Armand revealed the stairs. Unknowing what hidden behind the door, was a white and red ball which obviously is an Electrode. It screamed before exploding itself. Nadia yelped that Armand suddenly grabbed her hand and disappeared in a black shadow. Wait, isn’t that Shadow Force? Nadia could’ve done that by herself. She could take care of herself, mostly. Vincent knew what he had to do when this happens. He quickly put a wondrous wall of light to shield most of the explosion but he wasn’t fast enough to stretch the wall long enough for Pamela to shield herself. This caused her to fly off to the back of the hallway. Without any hesitation, the Kadabra was quick to teleport for him to catch the Persian. She landed on both of his arms. At least he prevented her from falling onto an old, stained wooden floor.
Armand and the other two teammates reappeared not far from where both Vincent and Pamela. Nadia quickly surrounded the Persian. Pamela shook her head. “Damn Electrode…” She muttered, rubbing her head. She soon jumped from Vincent’s arms looking better, just a slight bruise is all that explosion dealt for her, but she didn’t know what the explosion did to Xavier. “Is everyone other than Pamela and Xavier fine?” Nadia tried to check everyone. It is her duty as a leader after all. Vincent directed his attention to the Absol then to the lock that flew right from the door itself. He approached it and crouched to inspect it for a minute. That explosion left black marks all over the rusted metallic lock and the floor. The door was also broken to bits, leaving pieces of wood all over the places. ‘Mehh, what will happen if an army of Electrodes use Self-Destruct all at once?’ An unimportant question popped on the Poochyena’s mind. Meanwhile, Pamela and Vincent investigated the room while leaving the other team to take care of the Absol and Nadia to drift onto her mind.
The Kadabra peeked into the room, only revealing his head. The room was dark and a few tattered curtains that have claw marks were still hanged on a few windows, maybe 3 or 2? With the windows, more light lighted the room more than the hallway. An eerie wind blew the curtains and Vincent felt a sudden chill. Pamela then shoved the Kadabra into the room. “You go in first.” She said before stepping into the room. “Why do you have to go with us again?” He asked sarcastically. “Because you won’t survive in a place like this with only Nadia.” She said calmly. She’s been into so much arguments, she have the experience to beat him in any arguments. The room then filled with silent. Not one of the two spoken. Vincent tilted his head to the stairs that sits behind furniture, most likely an old coffee table. The two went back to the hallway to report about the stairs. “Huh? Oh right.” She wiped the question she wondered earlier. “We’ll continue onto the stairs once everyone is ready.” The Poochyena told everyone, trying her best to take control.
{{Darreeen, I'm not the one who takes controls over this you know, we're the one who takes controls this, so give me a few comments, or suggestions, revisions, anything too, because this is our mission~ <3
I'll try my best to give a great amount of length too}}
~Armand~Damon~Xavier~
Xavier slowly opened his eyes, afraid of what he might see. With a jolt of surprise, he noticed everything was upside down! He began struggling frantically, completely forgetting to take into consideration that he might actually NOT be in danger, "Oi! Hey! Stop it, or I might-" with a large thud, Xavier fell to the floor as Damon's grip slipped, "Drop you..." With a sigh, the Sableye detached himself from the ceiling. and studied the unconscious Absol at his feet. "You must have dropped him on his head." Damon looked up to see Armand approach the scene. The Dusclops looked fairly unscathed, so Damon easily assumed he had avoided the attack also. Armand gestured for Damon to follow, "Bring him with you, we found a place to rest for a bit." Damon nodded, and hefted the large canine over his shoulder. Without questioning as to why Armand couldn't have helped, Damon dragged Xavier into the room that had until now been locked.
The others mildly talked amongst themselves as they waited for Xavier to regain consciousness; it wasn't like they could just leave him. Armand sat in an old, faded recliner that was placed near the empty and unused fireplace, and began to question just how random these events were. First, the lack of pokemon. They had seen and felt other presences sure, but every single dungeon had at least one encounter on the first floor. Certainly strange. Then there was the lock. Armand supposed it would have been appropriate to place a lock on the door back when it was first destroyed; but that padlock that was on the door, it was so new, so...modern. It couldn't have been more than half a year old. Lastly, there was the Electrode. Now, it was completely average for a stray pokemon to attack in a dungeon. But Self-destruct? And right in front of the stairs too? It was far too coincidental, all too "perfect". Hadn't he read about Algendar's Castle before? There was something hidden here... OH RIGHT! "Urrggh, what happened?" And just like that, Armand lost his train of thought. Completely disregarding the fact that he was THIS close to remembering the "secret" of the castle, he casually rose from the recliner, and over to the love seat where Xavier had been laid to rest. The Absol had been laid on his side, and he had been sleeping peacefully until now. With a cautious hand, Armand checked Xavier's head for any injury, which got him a strange look from the groggy Absol. "Hm... it seems if you have no concussions or any severe injury of the sort." With a clap of his hands he began to walk towards the staircase, "Well, it's time we began moving again, wouldn't you say?" Still a bit off-kilter, Xavier struggled to get off the couch and stay on all fours. That Self-Destruct had been rather powerful, especially point blank. Nevertheless he gave a slight nod and followed Armand up the stairs. Sighing, Damon removed himself from the old wooden rocking chair that he had been himself resting in and began walking with the rest of his teammates. As he reached the base of the stairs, he looked behind him at Team DarkStar, "Hey, you guys comin'? We ain't got all day." He then joined the rest of his teammates on the second floor, without waiting for an answer.
Upon seeing the other team ready, Pamela became silent and followed the group to the next floor rather than making another comment at the Sableye. The Nadia took a last look at the current floor and raced to the stairs, seems like she is eager to get out of this castle. Maybe she’s not comfortable being in a cold dead castle like this? Pamela then stopped halfway through the floor and titled her head to the Tyrogue behind the group. “Hey, what the heck is your name anyways? You might as well tell us or else you will be called ‘The Tyrogue’ for this entire mission.” The Persian asked. She does have a point though. Being called by their species name is kind of annoying eventually. Unless of course your just a robot and doesn’t have any feelings, or an emotionless mortal, servant, and so forth. You get the point. “For your information, my name is Trevor.” He stopped in front of her. “Trevor?” A giggle came from her as she heard the word ‘Trevor’ and began to climb the stairs again. “So?” He commented back, following behind her. The feline Pokemon ignored him and went on ahead.
As they arrived to the next floor, the place seemed it didn’t change from the one they were before. It’s old, dusty, pesky Rattatas trotting all over the wooden floor. See what I mean? They all began walking through the floor and made creaky sounds when they step on these old wooden flooring. Now what would be waiting for them in here? Who knows, maybe another aggressive Pokemon attacks them again. “Armand, where do you think we should start looking for the next stairs?” Nadia turned to the Dusclops, hoping he have an answer in mind. Yeah, well she isn’t the most intelligent around here or neither is Vincent despite the fact he is a Kadabra. Not every Abra evolution line species is intelligent, right? Or is it just him?
~Armand~Damon~Xavier~
The next floor was as old, decrepit, and maze-like as the first. Dust hung in thick layers on the walls and ceiling, a clear sign of the Castle's age. If Armand had to guess, he would say they were somewhere in the western wing of the castle, which meant they were a little less than a quarter of the way to the end. Of course, they still had a ways to go. Once again the lack of aggressive pokemon worried Armand, but he was saved the trouble of dwelling over it by Nadia, who had addressed him. "Hm? Oh, the stairs. Well let me take a look-see." He stopped walking, which caused the rest of their party to pile up behind him, on account of him being not only the biggest, but in front. Armand's eye clouded over becoming lifeless and almost blind looking. However, from his point of view, Armand could now see through the walls. At first the sheer size of the castle surprised Armand, but the initial shock soon vanished and he began to search for the stairs. Left, right, and left again, he scanned the area, but to no avail. All he could see were the occasional foyers, dens, libraries and... oh, wait, what's this now? Not too far away, a large empty Ball Room sat. There was only two entrances, one was easily accessible from where they stood, the other, and this is why it seemed suspicious, was perfectly solid. Now normally, that's perfectly okay, but having used Foresight, Armand should have seen straight through that door and onto the other side. Something was special about that door, and he could only assume it was the Stairs. With a smile, Armand's eye regained normal vision and he gestured forward, "Come, I've found something." He then rushed off, the rest of the party in tow.
It wasn't long before the party had reached the entrance to the Ball Room. The door was ornate, much like the front entrance and the door that had led to the first floor stairs. The lacquered wood shone in the dull light of the candelabras that were littered throughout the hallways. Tentatively he pushed open the door, and was immediately assaulted by bright light and fancy music. Strangely enough, there was no one inside. So where was the music coming from? Cautiously, he led the party into the Ball Room, their feet making soft clicking noises against the tiled floor. The source of the bright light soon became apparent as the center of the ceiling was revealed to house a large and rather expensive looking Chandelier. How strange... Armand mused. The chandelier was in perfect working order, and not only that, but the entire room was void of any and all forms of dirt. "How very strange indeed..." Armand repeated, this time, aloud. Damon gave his leader a curious look, there was obviously something going on, something that he was missing. Xavier on the other hand, really didn't care, for as soon as he noticed the even larger, and more ornate door on the opposite end Ball Room. "That must be the stairs! Come on everyone!" Without even so much as glancing behind him, the young Absol bounded for the other end of the room. "XAVIER, NO!" Armand immediately shot out a Shadow Punch in attempt to grab Xavier and drag him back, but he was far too fast for his own good. Without heeding his leader's warning, he pushed open the door. Only to be met by a large explosion of vile, putrid, purple, Toxic. Covered in the poisonous purple goo, Xavier was pulled back to where his friends stood by Armand's Shadow Punch. Damon walked over to the purple tinted Absol and gave him a quick inspection, "The poor kid's getting rather beat up. He's unconscious again." Damon then produced a Pecha Berry and an Oran Berry from the pouch that hung at his waist and fed it to the unconscious Absol, "He should be up and running in a few-" "Oh hoh hoh hoh, oh dear~ It looks as if your little friend had a rather bad run in with my trap~" The group quickly turned back to the now dripping door to search for the source of the mysterious voice. The voice was soon revealed to belong to a rather large Swalot, who was casually entering the ball room. Her shortened whiskers signaling that she was, indeed, a female. Damon glared at the new arrival, "Just who do you think you are, eh?! You're lucky he isn't dead!" The Swalot just laughed, "Oh hoh, I would say I'm rather UN-lucky that he isn't dead. And I would also say that my name is of no importance. However, you are trespassing here, and we can't have trespassers, now can we?" Suddenly, the Swalot's body swelled, and she opened her mouth to reveal another bubbling vat of poisonous substances. Armand prepared himself to grab the closest Pokemon to protect them from the incoming attack. However, the poisonous liquid just began to slowly leak out of the Swalot's mouth, until it had all pooled in front her. The liquid seemed to congeal then shiver and grow. It grew more and more shapely until it was revealed that the poisonous liquid was actually a Muk, that had been living INSIDE the Swalot! It stretched its dripping arms and yawned, "Oooog, what is it honey?" Opening his eyes the Muk realized they had company. A sickening smile spread across his face. "Oooh, trespassers? Shall we deal with them?" The female Swalot gave an equally sickening smile and nodded, turning to face the party that had been waiting oh so patiently. "Prepare yourselves...." Armand tensed, getting into the appropriate battle stance just as the poisonous couple expelled Poison Gas from their open mouths, completely filling the room in a matter of seconds. Hand over his mouth, Damon coughed a few times, "Not good, we better get rid of these two fast; we'll be dead in a matter of minutes at this rate."
Ewww.” Nadia and Pamela murmured after seeing the Muk coming out of the Swalot. Yeah, that is real gross. How could that purple sludge live inside a purple goop? Well no time for questions now. The Poochyena backed from the group just a few steps away. She hasn’t been feeling to fight a Poison-Type Pokemon after what reminded her of her dark past. But she has to let it go, she can’t change the past. She only watched her teammates started the first strike for now.
Pamela made the first move with Fake Out and the client followed her with his own Fake Out, making a double Fake Out then. Both of the sludge was blown back by the moves. Although Trevor stopped, the Persian continued to strike and she Fury Swipes the Muk. But unfortunately it isn’t that much of a difference if the foe is a pile of poisonous sludge. The Persian was quick to dodge a Gunk Shot when the Muk raised an arm and hurled slime at her. The purple slime instead hit the floor and vaporized it, making a hole for it to fall into again. The Kadabra glared at the hole for a moment and swallowed his tongue. He glanced at the female Swalot and fired Psybeams at her because he knows that Poison is weak to Psychic. The beam hit her but she formed into a puddle of poison and slithered sideways to dodge the incoming Psybeams. Trevor ran straight at the Muk and Tackled it to help Pamela fighting this thing again. He landed behind the Pokemon and made a hole in its body, but the Muk reformed it back. It looked like it was like it didn’t even been damaged. This might be bad…
Nadia was still staring at a distance. The whole group needed every help they could get. She glanced at the black band around her left-front leg. She almost forgot she still wore this Pecha Scarf. It is said to prevent the one who wears this from poisoned. She looked at the battle again and started running to both of the Pokemon. Her fluffy long tail was up in the air and glow purple as she began to charge up a Poison Tail half way to them. She leaped and swung her tail, hitting the Muk. The Muk then blown back and hit the Swalot. A double hit for the prize of one. The Poochyena fall to the floor gracefully and a growl formed in her throat. She was in a battle stance, ready to strike at any moment. She glanced at Vincent, the Pamela, and then to the two of her enemies. The Kadabra looked at his vice-captain and smiled. She was focused now and ready for some butt-kicking! He turned and fired more Psybeams because that’s the only move that is quite useful right now and Nadia shot a few Dark Pulses from her mouth while the others keep doing their own moves. Hope they’ll win against this pile of sludge. I mean, what kind of damage could they possibly do? Probably a lot after that poisonous sludge just melted the wooden floor scene.
~Armand~Damon~Xavier~
The poisonous duo were simply no match for the party. Their attacks simply glanced off their gooey, jiggling bodies and they merely laughed as they retaliated. "Oh ho, you don't stand a chance~ Not in these conditions." She laughed a bit more before taking a Psybeam head on. Her defenses had obviously been supplemented by a Stockpile, making all attacks minimal in power. The Muk chuckled at the small Pokemons futile attempts at attacking, "Heh, you all will be dead from this Poison Gas in a few more minutes." He then lifted a large gooey arm and flung a pile of filth and threw it at Pamela. Thankfully, she dodged and the Gunk Shot hit the perfectly clean tiled floor. A hissing sound was heard at the purple gunk ate away at the floor until a large steaming hole in the ground. "Oh dear, what a shame..." Armand, who had been watching over Xavier, stood and mused over the ruined floor. Damon just glared, still covering his mouth. He knew the action was futile, the poison would soon claim him, but as long Xavier was out cold, he couldn't leave his side.
The Muk took Nadia's Poison Tail in it's entirety. Albeit, the attack wasn't very effective being Poison on Poison after all, but the sheer aggression coming from the Poochyena was enough to throw him from where he stood and into his Swalot partner, the both of them loosing a small "Ooomph" as they were pushed against the poison drenched door. The both of them continued to buff up their defenses, the Muk using Minimize to dodge most of Team BlackStar's attacks, and the Swalot using Amnesia to take the Psychic attacks without so much as flinching. Suddenly, realization dawned on Damon's face. They weren't even fighting back any more! What they had said was right, they didn't stand a chance in these conditions, the poisonous air was far to taxing to their health. The Poison couple was merely biding their time till we all dropped dead from the poison! Well, except for Nadia, but something told him that one Poochyena didn't stand much chance against and overly-defensive duo of Poison Pokemon. Quickly he turned his attention to Armand, who was still mourning over the ruined floor. "Oi, Armand! Think you can get a strong Ominous Wind up and running?" Damon stood and positioned himself in front of the Dusclops. "Hm? Oh... well I suppose, but there's far too much Gas for me to just blow away..." Damon quickly shook his head, desperate for Armand to understand, he could already feel the poison beginning to numb his senses. "No no, I need you to give me some momentum towards those two." He gestured over his shoulder where Team BlackStar was still attacking the couple in a futile attempt to subdue them. Realizing what Damon was getting at, he gave a small nod at took a deep inhale; this in itself was dangerous, as he also inhaled a lot of poison. Nevertheless, Damon let out a mischievous smile and turned around, his back now facing Armand. The Dusclops reached the peak of his inhale, and Damon's claws began to extend and glow a bright blue. Finally, Armand released a powerful exhale that manifested itself as a immense purple wind tunnel. Damon hopped enough for him to get hit square in the back with the wind, propelling him toward the other side of the room in a matter of seconds. The Sableye's claws had reached the peak of their length and glow and his hands had pretty much melded together two form two glowing scythes. A sudden obstacle reared its ugly head some two feet from the Poison-type couple. And that obstacle's name was Vincent. Eyes wide Damon positioned himself so that, when he collided with Vincent, his feet landed atop the Kadabra's head, forcing him into a squat. He then leaped off Vincent's head, using it as a sort of spring board, and shot towards the Muk and Swalot. At about half a foot away from the two, Damon brought his crossed arms in a quick X-like movement. The Psycho Cut made perfect contact, for it had caught the couple off guard. A horrible squelching noise was heard and the poison-couple literally exploded. Purple poisonous globs of goo splattered all over the room, dripping off the walls in a rather disturbing way. The air in the room began to clear, the gas escaping through the hole in the floor, "Oh my, I dare say we've met our match..." A soft voice seemed to come from nowhere; it sounded much like the Swalot had. The globs of poison on the wall began to quiver and the slowly slithered toward the floor in the ground, following the gas. Just as the last bit of goop made its way to the whole, the Muk's voice could be heard, "Quite true, my sweet. All though I can't help but wonder how they shall fare against the others...." The room was then silent once again.
Damon rose from the crouching position that had resulted from the Psycho Cut and turned to walk back towards Armand. As he passed Team BlackStar he gave them a small nod, "Good work, you four." He gave the dripping hole a small sideways glance on his way towards his team. While looking at the unconscious Absol he addressed Armand, "How's he doing?" Armand too looked at Xavier before responding, "Well the purple tint has faded and... oh would you look at that." Damon watched as the young Absol's eyes fluttered open. "Ooooh, whuhappened?" Damon let out a sigh and pressed his fingers between his temples, "What happened was you were knocked unconscious by a rather vicious Toxic. You're quite lucky to be alive." Armand nodded and agreement and Xavier stood up, rather unfazed by Damon's comment. "Oh, well, um, can we go now?" Damon let out an annoyed sigh, rather frustrated by the new member's ignorance. Nevertheless, he turned to face the other team, "Well if everyone else is in need of no immediate medical attention, then I suggest we continue on our way." Armand was rather taken aback by Damon's sudden leader-like instincts. "Hey...that's my job...[:<]" He muttered.
It seemed like everybody except Team Lunar Curtain was stalling the enemies while they thought up a plan to finish this battle once and for all. Everybody then stopped their actions and watched as the Dusclops exhaled an enormous wind that covered the room with purple shadings. Vincent felt a hard nudge on top of his head and can’t help but yelped in pain. He fall head-first to the floor as the force pushed his head downward. A Sableye then peered above his head and sailed across the room, right at the twosome purple slime. The Kadabra no longer paid attention to either of the Swalot or Muk. He raised his belly with both of his hand and turning his position into a kneeling position. His gaze was up at his head as he repeatedly rubbed it with one of his hand. Damon’s rough purple skin may have made the pain on his head much more hurtful than it needs to be. Though, how much it was a pain for him, everybody seemed to ignore his injury.
As the only females among the group, Nadia and Pamela tried so hard to avoid the splattering sludge coming their way. And once again, Pamela succeeds to get spattered with icky blobs along with the Poochyena. The two sighed heavily, relieved. Why would anyone wanted to get slime over them? Unless there’s a Water-type with you that could clean you up with a spray of water, if they could. But actually, a few people like to get down and dirty. Just a few though. Nadia raised a leg, her head tilted to a nearby goop on the floor. “Yes, that would be best if we do continue- quickly.” She acknowledged the Sableye. Now she has two reasons to get out of here quickly. One; this is a creepy place to be and two; the Poison-type Pokemon who could make her nauseous with their terrible slime.
The Poochyena then glanced at opened door where the two slimy Pokemon came. It was on the opposite wall of the entrance they took. “Xavier, you said the stairs is over there, right” She was referring to what the Absol exclaimed before he got knocked out. She turned to Xavier, then back to the door. She approached it cautiously while avoiding the slime that is still left sitting on the floor. “Wow, his right.” She said, looking over to the stairs on the other side of the door. Without another word came from her mouth, she trailed off onto the stairs. “Come on,” The Persian said with the pink coloring. She stops by at where Vincent was sitting in the Ball Room and grabbed his arm, the one he is rubbing his head with, dragging him off. He soon snapped out of worrying about his head and start trashing about to get off of her grip. He said something about under the lines of “Let me go” before she released him and climbed up the stairs. The client, Trevor, did not make a word and pressed on. Who knows what he is thinking. Perhaps about what will the guys that called him a “Chicken” would react after he went through all the way up of this castle? Shocked? Praise him? Confused?
As the group reached at the end of the stairs, the floor’s appearance seemed more in ruins than the one before. Torn curtains, cracked walls, gaping holes on the floor, and everything else you could imagine broken. A few doors were around the room. Not a lot of doors they’ve seen in one room though. If you haven’t noticed, on top of them, the stained ceiling holds a large chandelier at the center of the room. It looks like it’s about to fall off with its age. The once gold colored metal faded and rusted into a brown coloring. The chandelier has a few glass shaped like a dewdrop, glistening under the sunlight. Though by the tiny holes, there should be a few more glasses. Probably was broken off and is now lost forever. How could you possibly find a tiny shard like that anywhere here? Unless if you set a GPS on it, of course. But GPS doesn’t exist yet the time where this castle is occupied, does it? “We should start looking for the stairs as soon as possible.” The Kadabra said. Sometimes, Vincent likes to take over as leader, but Nadia doesn’t seem to show any objections on it. So she’s perfectly fine with him taking care of things for her. The vice-captain stepped into the middle of the current room, a few inches away from the large chandelier. Nadia followed behind him while looks like the others watched for their orders. “Hmm…” The Kadabra focused, looking around the room for any suspicion. He took a step forward and glared at his surroundings once again.”Okay, I think everything is f-“ Vincent stopped talking when he heard something. Pamela then quickly caught up with the sound, a crack. Suddenly, his heart skipped a beat. The chandelier above him dropped. He froze, he can’t move. Nadia soon grabbed his arm and disappeared in a cloud of shadows. The chandelier than made a huge sound from the fall. The Poochyena along with the Kadabra appeared beside the chandelier. Vincent was still flinched, he was still surprised from the accident, but that was a bit suspicious. Why would that chandelier dropped when he stepped forward. No, somebody must have done it. The chandelier can’t just drop when Vincent was just right beneath it. “Vincent? Vincent?” She tried to get her vice-captain senses back, shaking him back and forth.
~Armand~Damon~Xavier~
Team Lunar Curtain followed their companions obediently up the staircase, it looked as if they were in charge this time. As they wandered the corridors of the next floor, Damon kept a curious eye on their client. As the Sableye had noticed in the last fight, Trevor was rather useless. It suddenly made sense why he had wanted people to "escort" him through the Castle. Had he tried to do it himself, he probably wouldn't have even made it past that Electrode! Armand walked silently amongst the others, taking in the sights as Team BlackStar lead they way. Whereas the others carefully maneuvered around the holes in the ground, Armand simply floated over them, too deep in thought to be bothered with such trivial tasks. They soon turned the corner to find themselves in a very old and run-down Sitting room. Much like the Ball Room, this room housed a rather large and expensive looking chandelier in its center. Armand noted that this Chandelier was rather old looking; it was missing several crystal links and the metal was brown and rusted with age. All was normal for the first few moments. The party casually made their way across the Sitting room and towards the other side, hopefully closer to the stairs. A sudden loud "CRACK" resounded through the room and the large, old, Chandelier fell to the ground, nearly crushing Vincent. Thankfully, Nadia was quick to react and Shadow Forced Vincent to safety. It was a miracle that the Chandelier didn't bust right through the floor, and Xavier shared in this miraculous feat. For as soon as the Chandelier hit the floor, he let out a small "Squee!" and bolted towards the fallen light fixture, picking up as many small crystals as he could and putting them all in the small pouch that he carried. Damon rolled his eyes and joined Armand as they both walked around to the other side of the Chandelier, where Nadia was trying to snap Vincent back to reality. "Hmm...maybe I can be of assistance." Hand glowing with shadow-like aura, Armand smacked the Kadabra rather forcefully across the face. Hopefully the Shadow Punch infused slap would be enough to snap Vincent out of it, they really needed to get a move on. Damon sat idly by, musing to himself. Sure, the chandelier had been old, but would it have fallen at such a "convenient" time? It was certainly strange. Then again, everything about this Castle was strange.
Once again, Vincent fell to the floor on his back as he slapped with a super-affective, powerful slap across his face, it stung. Nadia frowned at Armand. Why does he have to use a Shadow Punch than just a normal, old-fashioned smack in the face? That could’ve been just fine. And she could’ve done that by herself. She may enjoy it while it lasts. The Kadabra soon moaned with his eyes half opened. The Poochyena glanced at him. “Vincent, wake up!” She put her paw on his chest and started to shake him again. She kept repeating her sentence a few seconds until he was fully awake. Meanwhile, Pamela tilted her head to the pathetic Absol that even cared to grab those tiny glasses. “What the hell are you doing?” She asked him from a distance in an annoyed tone. Her mood may be between annoyed or confused, could be in between but mostly annoyed.
Vincent picked himself up from the floor and gazed at the shattered chandelier dizzily. Then he noticed something that somebody in the party hasn’t pay attention yet from the chandelier. The rusty steel that connect o the ceiling, it looked more like a bite mark than when it falls by itself. Something or somebody must have bit it off when nobody was look above them to crush Vincent, but what kind of thing that could bite through iron steel. Well it may be a bit weakened by the pass years, but it was still steel. And steels are strong.
Hey, look at that.” He pointed to the chandelier.
That looks like a bite mark don’t you think?
Maybe…” Nadia answered, not sure of herself.
Team Darkstar and useless Trevor circled the chandelier. Nadia sat down, her tail swishing left and right. More like sweeping the floor with her tail. Her ears twitched. She titled her head to see what she had heard, a sound. It sounds like footsteps very close by…and scuttling. She didn’t see anything, except Team Lunar Curtain and shrugged before turning back to the chandelier. But suddenly a chocolate blur bolted towards the group. Pamela, as the other member of Team Darkstar with keen hearing senses beside the leader, she heard the footsteps and the scuttling. She quickly turned and shot out a few glowing balls at the blur that seemed to look like coins. The fast chocolate blur turned into a stop, appearing as a male Raticate, obviously with the three long whiskers sticking out of his muzzle unlike the last female Swalot they encountered with. His big rat teeth could be seen because they were too big for them to close their mouths. So that’s what the cause of the chandelier accident. Raticate have teeth that are strong enough to gnaw through steel. And that chandelier is indeed steel. He then attempted to dodge the hurling balls of coins with a Quick Attack. “Oh no you don’t!” Trevor exclaimed, leaping into action with a Fake Out because it’s his move that he always starts with. Yeah, Tyrouges are pretty much useless. They only have 4 movesets and only two that usually comes in handy in battles more than the other two. The Raticate was blown back by the clap Trevor made, but it didn’t blow him away far.
It may seem a bit awkward to do it now, but the Poochyena felt it’s been a long time she hasn’t used this move since her first mission. Nadia approached the Raticate cautiously within a distance of course. She winked at him charmingly as a few girly pink hearts released from her and onto him. And then begins the fun part; he suddenly stopped from attempting an attack and glared at her and a smile formed from his face. But as Nadia began to toy with him around like a mindless doll Vincent shot a Psybeam that blasted him out of her way. “Aww..” She said under her breath.
~Armand~Damon~Xavier~
Armand put a finger to his mouth innocently as Vincent hit the floor. For someone with such a high IQ, that was quite the bonehead move. "Oh dear...will he be okay?" It would have been rather inconvenient if Vincent was out cold. Thankfully, Armand didn't have to worry long, as the Kadabra's eyes soon fluttered open and he rose to his feet in a daze. Meanwhile, Xavier, who had been busily picking up the pieces of crystal shards off the ground, looked up at the sound of the annoyed Persian's voice. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm making a profit~" Unfazed by Pamela's attitude, Xavier continued picking up as many crystals as his little pouch would carry. On the other side of the room, Armand was carefully studying the fallen Chandelier along with half of team DarkStar. When Vincent made a comment, Armand looked up, suddenly curious as to what had made the light fixture fall. Without warning, the room was showered in a rain of crystal shards as a wild Raticate shot out of the fallen Chandelier. A bit slow to react, Team DarkStar had enough time to get out a quick Fake Out and Pay Day (much to Damon's excitement). Shaking his head to rid himself of the veil of shock that clouded his mind, Armand's fists began to emit a fine mist of subzero temperatures. His fist began to encase itself in ice and he charged at the now infatuated Raticate. Seconds from impact, Armand's chance was cruelly ripped away as the Kadabra known as Vincent made contact with a Psybeam. Oh well, Armand knew how to improvise. As the rat-like Pokemon flew through the air, Armand caught up with it using supernatural speed and delivered a swift, powerful, uppercut to the Raticate's spinal cord. It let out a small gasp as the air left it's lungs and shot towards the ceiling, the Ice punch causing the fur on his back to frost over.
What about Damon, you ask? Well during all the commotion, he had slyly sneaked onto the ceiling using his claws, where he had been waiting this whole time for the perfect opportunity. Thankfully, Armand had delivered that perfect opportunity to him on a silver platter. The Sableye smiled maliciously as the half frozen Raticate made his way skyward. Without hesitation, he detached himself from the ceiling and rammed his head into the Raticate's chest. The impact from the Zen Headbutt caused several blue sparks to emit from the point of impact and the sound of cracking ribs could be heard. Noticing his chance to make a move, Xavier ceased his collecting of priceless crystals and launched himself at the Raticate, who was now headed back to the ground. Flying through the air, the Absol's blade began to glow with a shadowy purple aura. As he was about to run headlong into the plummeting rat Pokemon, he reared his head back and let out an excited, "YEEE-HAWWW!" Before arcing his head downward and Night Slashing the Raticate on the broad side of his body. Rather tired of taking so much abuse, the Raticate rocketed to the ground, landing a few feet from Armand in a heap. Damon and Xavier landed around the same time and admired their handiwork with much pleasure. Armand just smiled, ready to make another attack should the need arise.
((Sorry it took so long, SO MUCH HOMEWORK. In case it wasn't already obvious, we really should start focusing more on getting the story done with rather than long posts. So don't worry too much about posting a lot, just get the plot moving fast >w<;;; ))
Unfortunately, Vincent didn’t know with just one shot of his Psybeam, he made two disappointments, though it doesn’t matter for Armand when he improvised. The Dusclops punched him skywards and left a frosty fur on his back. Crawling on the ceiling, Damon rammed onto the Raticate and to finish the combination was a Night Slash by Xavier. As the rat-like Pokemon fell back to the wooden floor, the ice that freezes the back of his fur shattered into tiny crystals from the impact. The Raticate continues to slide across the floor now that his back isn’t that hard as ice anymore and stopped a few feet in front from Armand. So it actually leads to incoming attacks that damaged the Raticate severely. You could know how severe it is just by listening to the sound of cracking ribs between one of the attacks.
Nadia just blinked at seeing the attacks, her gaze at the fainted Raticate. “Wow..” Is the only word that first came out of her mouth. Everything then became quiet, almost everybody looking at the Raticate. A breeze came its way to the group, filling the room with a silent chill. Pamela shifted her eyes to the two nearest Pokemon beside her who is actually Trevor and Xavier before returning her gaze to the center again. “Now that’s taken care of, could we move on?” The Persian finally ended the quietness, turning back to stare the whole room. Trevor looked at her and remembered that they haven’t figure out where the stairs is in this floor yet because a certain furry friend came and made mischief with an old chandelier. “So...where do you think the stairs will be in here?” Trevor asked, turning his attention away from the Raticate. “We should hurry before that thing wakes up.” The Poochyena’s eyes glancing to the rat-like Pokemon. Even if it is like 10 seconds ago, that severely damaged Raticate clouded everyone’s mind, well at least to a few including her.
{{What I thought by what you said "You'll lead us to the Skeletal guy" You'll do it all ._. But if you want me to at least do this stairs then just ask..}}
