Satomei played with the stones that were embedded in the stream's water. It was quite amusing to bounce from one to the other, and it helped to enhance her elegance. She could move smoothly from one to the other, her tail flicking happily behind her. If she fell, it wasn't that deep, so she wouldn't get into too much trouble, and also, her Uncle was lying nearby, watching her play to make sure she didn't fall in and hurt herself. Probably because he was afraid of her mother's wrath. She peeked behind her, sending him a beaming smile, before bouncing onto another rock.
She might be a juvenile now, far too old for playing games, but really, they were quite fun and only her uncle was around to see her make a fool of herself.
“Are you going to come and play, Uncle?” She demanded, pausing and flicking her tail behind her eagerly. Her Uncle couldn't play on the rocks with her, he was too large, but he could concoct a new game for them to play.
Nanashi was sprawled out on the grass, happy to sunbathe and peer at his niece from time to time, to make sure she was still there and not flailing around in the water. She wasn't, so Aiko wouldn't yell at him, he thought, smiling lazily back at her at her beamining smile.
It was nice, having time off to spend with his niece. She was such fun to spend time with, even if she did revert to the mind of a child when he was around. Sometimes she tried to act older, but then there were times Nanashi could remember her chasing him around, playing with his tail while he tried to work. It was after then that he had started to take time off to spend with her. It was hard to concentrate with a cub attached to your tail, so he knew it better to give her lots of time individually, so she would not want to distract him when he was working.
“No, Satomei,” Nanashi said, waving a paw at her. “You continue to play, I have to return to patrol soon.” He honestly didn't want to play any silly games at the moment, though he really did have to get back to patrol eventually too. Mostly it was an excuse to not move.

The land she was growing in was amazing to her.. but even so. She was with a, what one called 'nanny' for the majority of the time while she did see her father. It was very rare. [ Katapatan ] was finally able to go 'out' for a short time. Though, her Nanny wasn't too far away. She needed to experience life outside of the den and now that she was able to. Her paws were quick to want to wonder. Once she mouth of the den was in view she gave a large inhale of the air before darting away..
Her first steps outside and rushing about the lands like a cubbin cheetah would do. But quickly she whipped around. Looking up at her nanny.. her father appointed her and though she wasn't particularly kind- she was a good nanny. Someone to look up to at times. But her father was the object in which she looked up to the most. His position in the pride couldn't match any other. Taking a gasping breath before her ears went up. Blinking at the lush vegitation in the middle of the pride.. then the little stream that went right through the middle. It was amazing.. Her tail padding as she went right for the lush and went to examine it.. Her siblings probably around or in the den but she knew the nanny HAD to be within range.
Of course. She was loyal even being a cub. When she said she will be within range- and not leave. She wouldn't. Her word.. like she learnt was like her father and following in his footsteps which was ideal for her. But as she got closer to the lush.. voices erupted from the behind the bushes. When she went under and slicked through. She saw ..... a dark cheetah.. and then a very light yet chubby looking.. cheetah? On a rock that was so close to water.
The only water she knew was the underground springs that her nanny let them play in.. Though most of her siblings probably didn't know what to do with it. The description of the dark one matched what the nanny explained to them as 'The Boss'. Ears went back.. She didn't know if she should introduce herself? To him but.. for now. She stayed low in to the bushes and watched. Observed without a peep.

Satomei rolled her eyes at her lazy uncle. “You're just saying that because you don't want to play,” she protested, and scrambled up the bank, pouncing on him playfully. She didn't intend to hurt him and she likely couldn't have, even if she wanted to, considering she was still very small, very young and had inherited a certain daintiness from her mother.
She scrambled over her uncle, flopping down on his side, legs dangling over and peered up at him. She knew she probably shouldn't do this, it would ruin both her and her uncle's respectability in the pride – or so the cub thought, even though most people in the pride would only find it amusing that their boss was playing with his niece.
“I'll tell mother that you were mean and didn't play with me,” she joked, with a grin. Aiko was a fierce force to reckon with, especially when her cubs were involved.
Nanashi hid a smile at his niece's retort, knowing she had figured him out and he stretched lazily, just before she flopped on him. He let out an 'omph' as she did, even though she wasn't heavy, she had hit right onto his stomach. He chuckled lightly at her comment to tell Aiko however, and knew that Aiko would likely be displeased but would shrug it off, since she didn't really want Satomei interacting with Nanashi, and probably would appreciate him not playing with her.
“Why don't you accompany me on my patrol then?” He asked, knowing she would likely say no. She had accompanied him yesterday and there was only so many things to do on patrol. He wished she had more friends within the pride, she was so awkward around others normally.

She edged closer.. and waited. Hear what they were saying. Like her father.. she was stealthy and waited.. He was the boss and apparently that was the niece that her sister was talking about. She did look pretty. Amazing in fact. Though a bit plumped for a cheetah cub like her siblings. Maybe it was just fluffy fur... the white. Like her brother.. then she saw the boss that spoke to calmly. It almost gave her chills...
To be so close to royalty. When he asked to accompany him- her body jolted forward. The chance of going somewhere like a mission or on duty made her body act on its own! Excitement had built in to her system! But once her body flung forward- she felt like she jumped out of her skin. Liek naked. 'Uh oh.' Her eyes went big.. and she tried a very very embarrassed smile. "Ah...hi.." A shiny smile; trying to mask her nervousness of being judged for the act she just pulled.
"Ah.. don't .. err.. mind me..heh. I'll- um.. just.. be err..leaving now. Yea. Leaving~!" Chuckling and taking a very nervously cautious step back. "Sorry~ Didn't mean to~" Bowing her whole fore body down to the blood and again, and again as she lowered her body in submission. Tail coiled around her leg.

Nanashi's eyes darted towards the movements when the cub pounced from out of sight, abruptly entering his view. He tensed for a moment, before recognising her pelt. It must have been one of Mana's brood. He'd met them before, of course, but only in passing and never had he been introduced to them.
"Hello little one," he greeted her, disregarding her stumbled and nervous words. "Oh no, don't feel like you have to leave," he chuckled. "I know your father. Mana, correct?" He queried, though he already knew. He nudged his niece, trying to get her to say hello.
Feeling her Uncle nudge her, Satomei started and stopped just staring at the odd female before her, and looked sheepishly at her Uncle.
"Hi," Satomei greeted the cheetah, realising she had to be polite. "What's your name?" She encouraged.
"I'm Satomei." She was nervous. She wasn't...good around other people. She preferred her own, or her family's company, but her Uncle was there, so it wasn't completely terrifying.
