Well let's get this underway. =)
DIE GRUNNY, DIE!
*edit* 9 and 16? dammit...
1st attack.

Whilst wondering through the thick snow outside of Barton, Cobalt Twist happily sang to himself; The dischordant tune harming few, as the cold kept most people inside.
Suddenly, from out of nowhere, another cliche, a grunny appeared.
"OH NO!" exclaimed Cobalt Twist. Then, just in case there were people within earshot, "I WILL DEFEAT YOU MIGHTY GRUNNY!"
Carefully, with some meed timidity, Twist threw his sword at the Grunny. The sword was powerful, a mighty Frostbite Blade, and in this snow its attacks would be ever more powerful.
The powerful blade ripped through the icy air, landing inches from the Grunny. "Bollocks..." muttered Cobalt Twist.
The Grunny stared at the blade, then at Twist. From out of the snow popped 39 identical grunnies...

The Grunnies gathered en mass around Twist, their tiny red eyes telling him, "Fear Us," "We shall devour you," and "We are also very cold. Brrr."
Twist felt the resolve rise within himself, these grunnies were dangerous and only he stood between them and Barton Town. Images of Rufus being eaten by a swarm of Grunnies plagues his mind. "I won't let you eat Rufus!" he yelled. Running clumsily towards his blade, only tripping once or twice in the think blanket of snow.

Grabbing the frostbite blade Twist dug his feet into the snow and ran towards the Grunnies, several of them leapt at him, baring their pointy little teeth. With a single swing of his sword he cut them all down. He swung madly at the Grunnies, slicing them up cajun style. When he had finished half of the Grunnies lay finished, cajun, sliced and dead.
Quite randomly their bodies popped and disappeared, several leaving little piles of gold and various grunny related items. Cobalt Twist stared open eyed at this wonderous spectacle, before preparing himself for a second volley.
