[Gothic Muffin of Doom]

Hello World.
It's this time of the year again, time to save something or another in the Gaia Universe.
It's my first time to try an event of that sort, so let's see.

Gothic Muffin of Doom was on shore leave in the lands of Gaia during her duty on the starship USS Endeavor. The main city was brimming with the spirit of the holiday known over there as the "Modmas" which was a great opportunity for her to gather information about the traditions of the Gaians in that matter for her ship's mission to seek new life and new civilization.

Science officer's log star date 812316.2: "The people of Gaia are all in the spirit of one of the most important holiday in the year, the Modmas as they call it, the city is filled with joy and cheer, even though there are some eerie news flying around."

She had to stop her record when she was attacked by a seemingly innocent rabbit like creature

It was the first time for her to see that creature which wasn't recorded in the StrarFleet database, but even if she wanted to get samples for reseach she had to release herself from its teeth first.

Rolled two 20-sided dice (11 and 17), 1st attack of the day

Trying to hit it with back of the phaser wasn't very effective, but they were asked not to interfere and the phaser was not set on stun.

With just enough time to set phaser on stun she gave it another go with the risk of hurting herself.

Moving around to avoid another attack from the Grunny she took a wrong turn and tripped firing the phaser in the air.

"These creatures are stronger than they seem, fascinating."

GMoD stared at the Grunny biting her leg fiercely, totally failing to fend it off, some other people around had a similar problem.
Science officer's log 812321.4, Supplemental "These little green creatures are far stronger than they seem and appear to attack for no specific reason from what I have observed, it also seem they have been bred artificially, by their striking similarity."

Another try at the phaser was the only chance although it was a great risk since the Grunny was so close to her but she decided to give it a try.

That attack was also unsuccessful, the phaser hit the Grunny but nothing happened, these little buggers were very strong. "Fascinating, this form of life is nothing like the life we know."

The hit was successful and the creature started to back up, so she decided to strike again.

The success the second attack gave her a feeling it was possible to defeat it and take a specimen back to the starship.
