Grumbling underneath her breath, Ryoko stared her enemies down, "Gross... they must have RABIES or something..." She loved animals normally, but these things were just a little too crazy.
She lifted her hand, and in it gleamed a silver revolver that she kept close by at all times. The gun was loaded, and the woman was a sure shot. The little creatures' beady red eyes made Ryoko's trigger finger twitch with anticipation. There was no way some rabid little monsters were going to waltz in to her home and wreak havoc.
"Ka-BLAM!" Went the pistol in a sudden outburst, and one of the two Grunnies was hit. The other lunged in reaction and Ryoko recoiled in a startled manner, "Oh shi-!"

Ryoko's reflex proved too slow and the Grunny latched on to her outstretched arm.
"Augh! Get off!" The girl cried, dropping her gun. She then used her spare hand to pry the creature away by the scruff of its neck.
