Notus stared the Grunny down, then lashed out with his sword. It was a clean hit, but only grazed it's arm. He stepped back and lunged again...

... Notus stabs down, attempting to finish his enemy, but the Grunny rolls out of the way, and instead of being stabbed in the heart, it takes the blow in it's side. It continues it's moaning while hanging between the balance of life and death.
