It has been days ever since the grunnies started attacking Modmas. It so happened that Snowy was away traveling across the map to explore different places in Gaia.Somehow, she got wind of the activities and hostilities done by the grunnies to Modmas which somehow didnt seem right. Why would grunnies attack Modmas in an aggressive way? Is there something behind it?

As the cool Durem wind continued to blow the tiny grains of sand not too far from the border wall of the town, a girl about 17 years old stood straight at the tree branch at the border of the forest surrounding Durem. Her cold blue eyes stare at the border walls of Durem then shifted its gaze to the tiny Animated scooting around the forest. She sighed as her gloved hands gripped tighter a piece of paper in her clenched hands. She jumped down from the tree, landing not too far away from her motorcycle parked at the shade of foliage. She wore some kind of gothic garments which would definitely describe like she was a friend of Moira; black corset top with silver buttons, a red short skirt and black gothic laced stockings, tie up sandals, a black cap with protruding bat wings and what seemed like a black wing folded behind her. She also has a gunblade tied around her waist. Her silver curled hair was tied neatly which still reached down to her waist flowed as the wind blew once again. She slowly walked towards her motorcycle and started the engine before climbing up on it.

"To Barton, I guess." she mumbled as she drove down the road at full speed, the wind blowing against her pale skin.

Now at Bassken Lake, she drove down at the dirt road as her stare was on the lake instead of watching the road. The air smells fresh yet 'fishy' since the fishing lake was surrounded by trees. She admired how the sun shone down on the lake and was reflected by the clear water. It was a beautiful, breathtaking sight; the most beautiful place in Gaia perhaps. Then from the corner of her eye, she saw a green thing beside the dirt road from the forest's side. She turned her head instantly but the green thing was fast and it was able to run past across the road which made her pull on brake immediately to avoid hitting it.

Due to the velocity she was currently using while driving and the sudden brake, she was thrown into the air while on her motorcycle. She landed a few metres away from where she previously was, her bike hitting a few feet away from her. She was on her one knee as she looked back to glare at that green thing she saw. It was a grunny, looking so innocent at her as it sat at the bank of the lake. She raised an eyebrow at it as she slowly got up and turn to face it. "What's a grunny doing here?" she said wondering as she slowly walked towards it. "Arent you supposed to be at Barton Sewers?" She knelt down to touch its head but to her surprise it suddenly bit her hand and seemed like itll bite down hard if she wont try to shake it off or remove him.

Snowy shook her hand vigorously as she groaned in pain while the grunny's teeth sunk in even more. Lucky for her, the grunny let go of her hand and hopped away a few feet from her. It stared innocently at her once again as if it hadnt done anything wrong. Snowy on the other hand, glared at it as she held her wounded hand with the other and was ready to do serious damage to the poor little thing. From her belt where there hung a few rings and two dices, she slipped four fingers on four rings that hung and immediately she pulled them out of her belt as the strings that tied the rings to it was cut. She also did this again now with her other hand. And as soon as she was ready, she clenched her fists and glared at the grunny again with those cold blue eyes.

She plucked out two dices from her belt and threw them on the ground. Without looking at the results, she used her Hunter's Bow ring to shoot at the little menace. To her surprise, it missed. Looking down at the dices on the ground, she saw the results which would justify what just happened.

Snowy cussed under her breath since her previous assault missed because the grunny hopped away from where it was. It was still amazing since this little thing can move so fast and it can avoid such fast and accurate attack. It was frustrating but she cant do anything once the dice decides the outcome of the fight. She quickly picked up the dice before the grunny decides to bite her other hand and then threw them in front of her. The grunny now lunged forwards and run towards her. Alerted, Snowy still was able to wait patiently for what will happen as the dice stopped rolling.

She smiled mischievously as she saw the result was in her favor. The grunny suddenly stopped in its tracks and paused there as its eyes widened in fear. Snowy then aimed her Guns Guns Guns ring at it which successfully did decent damage to the poor thing.

After dealing damage using Guns ring, Snowy smiled to herself contently like a child that was able to hit back something that caused her pain. The grunny was thrown backwards as it sustained damage from her ring. Snowy couldnt waste any more time so she picked up the dice yet again and threw it in front of her. The dice continued to roll as the little grunny slowly got up. The wind blew much stronger, her silvery hair flowing along with the wind. Soon the dice stopped rolling, her blue eyes intently watched it for the result.

Sparkling with delight, her eyes lit up as she saw that it was still in her favor. Slowly she lifted her wounded hand and pointed her fingers at the grunny who was now shaking in fear as it stared back at her. Somehow, Snowy felt a bit sorry for the little creature though in first place, why would something like this go as far as Bassken Lake and attack people? Is it because of the Modmas?

Her Slash ring which was around her index finger lit up brightly as it was reflected on her eyes. She ran towards the grunny and from thin air, materialized a sword and performed Slash.

Damaging the grunny once again, she smiled to herself as she can now see success right in front of her. The grunny looked so weak and was about to die; just one more lucky roll of that dice and this ends here. Expecting it would be a lucky roll, she picked up the dices once more and threw it again. Snowy watched as it rolled and then halted to a stop on the ground.

Since she got too confident that it is still in her favor, she used her Hack ring to do the finishing blow and conclude the fight. Though, to her surprise the grunny was able to dodge the attack as it hopped to the side. Looking back at the dice, it showed why her attack missed which made her slap her forehead in frustration.

Snowy quickly picked up the pair of dice, trusting it would give her the chance to damage the grunny once again as she threw them in the same manner. The green bunny looked up at her with the intent to finish the fight before she does even though its already weak. It lunged at her and bit down on her arm which instantly bled. She bellowed in pain and waved her arm vigorously before pointing a finger at the bunny. Her Fire Rain ring glowed bright red as the dice stopped rolling on the ground.

The green bunny immediately hopped off of her as it released her arm. And because of that her attack was unsuccessful. Snowy held her bleeding arm as she looked down at the dice. The result was definitely the cause why her attack missed. Droplets of blood dropped down on the ground then it seeped down.

Things looked bad now, considering Snowy is already wounded and it took her a lot of time to fight this little thing off by using that pair of dice. She quickly swept down her hand to pick it up before the grunny decides to do one more big bite. She instantly threw the dice to the side and started to aim at the grunny for another attack without looking at what the pair of dice gave her.

Using her Hunter's Bow ring again, she aimed at the little creature and took a shot praying it wouldnt miss now. And to her surprise, it didnt. The arrow hit the grunny directly though it only damaged it a little. Looking down at the dice she saw the result; low but satisfying enough that she could at least deal a bit of damage to it.

Picking up the pair of dice once again, her energy was slowly boosted by the thought that this find will be over; just one more good strike and lucky roll of this pair of dice. Throwing it at the ground again, Snowy charged at the grunny who seemed to be a bit dizzy with all the blood loss because of its wounds.

Using her Slash ring, she attempted to deal damage that will end this fight. It missed but she wasnt surprised about this anymore even though the grunny didnt move from where it sat due to exhaustion. As usual, it was the result of the roll she did. She backed off quickly and picked up the pair of dice on the ground to end the poor creature's suffering..

Throwing the dice on the ground, she run towards the grunny again aiming her Hack ring at it to finish it off and move on to Barton Town. The materialized sword went through the stomach of the green bunny which killed the poor thing. The grunny seemed to melt down on the ground when it died then leaving a puff of thin smoke behind and a few little skeletons.

A successful attack, she looked down at the dice and saw there the reason of her victory. Her hand and arm stopped bleeding now though it still is a wound that needs to be treated in case there's an infection. Grunnies live at the sewers so probably its a carrier of viruses and bacteria. Since her motorcycle was damaged heavily, Snowy has no choice but to walk towards the North Gate of Barton just South of Bassken Lake.

Upon walking towards the North Gate of Barton Town, Snowy stopped to greet the Barton Guard, Eli, who was standing few feet away from the huge iron gates of Barton. She raised her hand and waved at him cheerfully even though her hand was bandaged heavily. Eli recognized her at the instant and was about to wave back at her when someone grabbed him away from behind. It was fast. He was easily grabbed and dragged away to the thick bushes nearby even though he was wearing a heavy looking armor. Snowy ran towards the bush to help Eli out since she could still hear him groaning and struggling from where he is.

Though before Snowy could even close in the gap to the bush, something that looked human jumped out of it. It looked human though it seemed far too different from ordinary. The person was wearing a dirty white labcoat and a hard hat. Before she could question him about Eli, the lab employee ran towards her with a loud groaning sound and its hands outstretched to grab her.

Snowy, who was already expecting that something might happen again, has the pair of dice on her hand and quickly threw it on the ground as she dodge the Labtech attack. She quickly got up and pointed a finger wearing a ring at the Labtech but it completely missed. No wonder, its the result of the roll.
