IE works a bit better than it was before on my computer
but firefox still stay a lot better and works better than IE ;P

Well IE coding is poor, but as far as the BG problem with it I swear I read somewhere that they fixed it.

I swear there was an option to stop it and make it open how you want to. I just remember it was in the tools and options part is all I can remember though.
