It's really simple. Just some light coding and html scripting basically. There is alot more, but that's just the super basics of it.

Technically HTML isn't a script. LOL

And, it's a bit more than light coding in most cases. Luckily, most of PHPbb is Premade, so all I have to do is customize the scripts and CSS.

Well yeah HTML is more the language. I remember my classes on it. So boring they were.

But in the end I love how once you learn a little bit about it you can customize so many cool things on so many sites. I remember this one call center I worked for I got to see how they did the html language for our screens and the scripted sayings we had to say.
